From childhood to adulthood, God was still God. He remains in control even as we remain bewildered, just as it was ages ago. There are some powerful verses in Scripture that remind us of His lasting authority, love, and goodness.
I am the Lord and there is no other.” The God of the Bible is the only true God. He is set apart from all other gods. He is a jealous God, who wants to protect his honor and wants his children to have an abundant life and not be deceived by false gods who bring confusion, rebellion, and unbelief into the world.
The Bible teaches that we can come to know God through His creation and His revelation. Creation gives us an awareness of God's existence. Psalm 19 begins, “The heavens declare the glory of God.” The apostle Paul asserts that the created world points to the reality of a powerful Creator (Romans 1:20).
The Bible teaches that God's sovereignty is an essential aspect of who he is, that he has supreme authority and absolute power over all things. And yes he is very much active, despite our perplexity. Scripture says, God works “all things according to the counsel of his will” (Ephesians 1:11).
For you, O LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Biblical texts that called mortals "gods" attracted attention from commentators and became the focus of ingenious interpretations and exegetical principles. [1] This is certainly true of Ps 82:6, "I said: 'You are Gods. '" The present study examines the use of Ps 82:6 in John 10:34-36.
If you've read the story of the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament, you know that it tells the story of God's interaction with one particular nation, Israel. The Hebrew Scriptures are full of language about Israel's special status as God's chosen nation.
Sometimes when bad things happen, they empower us to act and serve. Even the Savior, our example, suffered infirmities, “that his bowels may be filled with mercy” and so that He could know “how to succor his people” (Alma 7:12). Trials can open our eyes to those who are suffering.
He is not far away at any given moment. His spirit dwells within a child of God. God says he will dwell in us and walk among us; and he will be our God, and we shall be his people.
The Traditional View of God
God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, the perfectly good agent, and the only creator and sustainer of the universe. God's omniscience entails that He has foreknowledge of all future events, including human free choices and actions.

The only way to truly know someone is to spend time with them. The primary manner in which we spend time with Jesus is by spending time in the Word. Start by reading a chapter a day and asking yourself two questions. What did God say to me?

In Christianity, Jesus is considered the Son of God as written in the Bible's New Testament, and in mainstream Christian denominations he is God the Son, the second Person in the Trinity.
God the Father is spirit. That means he does not have a physical body. He is invisible. He is present everywhere.
The English word god comes from the Old English god, which itself is derived from the Proto-Germanic *ǥuđán. Its cognates in other Germanic languages include guþ, gudis (both Gothic), guð (Old Norse), god (Old Saxon, Old Frisian, and Old Dutch), and got (Old High German).
The message to Christians is that anger towards God leads away from faith in Him. It breeds a distaste for Him and distrust in Him and in His goodness. Perhaps more importantly, it is a means whereby sins can be justified which can add to the grief already suffered.
It's not a sin to question God — search the scriptures if you doubt. I believe God wants us to question His plan and His ways. He settles our doubts by giving us the belief that His ways are not always our ways.
When we are suffering, God is right beside us. Nothing can separate us from His love. He wants to show us His love through His church, and give us a purpose through His Word!
But there is work that God calls all of us to do, and it's laid out for us in the Bible. God makes it clear again and again that we're to love others, care for the poor, and live our lives in such a way that we point to the power of the gospel.
Aramaic is best known as the language Jesus spoke. It is a Semitic language originating in the middle Euphrates. In 800-600 BC it spread from there to Syria and Mesopotamia. The oldest preserved inscriptions are from this period and written in Old Aramaic.
He claimed that He was Lord of the Sabbath with the authority over it (Mark 2:23-28). He took the divine name “I AM” for Himself (John 8:58, from Exodus 3:14). He said that the way to the Father is through Him (Matthew 11:27, John 14:1-7).
For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 16:15–17). In Matthew 27:43, while Jesus hangs on the cross, the Judean leaders mock him to ask God help, "for he said, I am the Son of God", referring to the claim of Jesus to be the Son of God.
