Mystique is the mother of the X-Men hero Nightcrawler and the villain Graydon Creed, and the adoptive mother of the X-Men heroine Rogue.
Not long after, she is approached by Mystique, who seeks her out on the advice of her precognitive partner Destiny. Mystique ultimately takes Rogue in as a daughter.
Friends and Frenemies
Rogue has a complex relationship with Mystique, whom she once regarded as her mother. In her own way, Mystique loved Rogue as well, but that didn't stop her from exploiting Rogue's powers as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
After hinting for many years that Mystique was indeed Nightcrawler's biological mother, it was confirmed by writer Scott Lobdell in X-Men Unlimited #4.
Raze Darkhölme was the mutant son of Wolverine and Mystique. For unknown reasons, Raze killed his mother and replaced her. He was eventually found in Madripoor by his half-brother Charles Xavier II, who was given away by Mystique just after birth.
Irene Adler was born in Salzburg, Austria. Mystique was working as a consulting detective when Destiny sought her help in understanding the precognitive visions recorded in her diaries. During this time, the two fell in love. Background details suggest that this meeting took place around 1900.
History. Magneto and Rogue developed a relationship when it was realized that their similar magnetic powers made Magneto immune to Rogue's absorption abilities. Rogue eventually gave birth to young Charles, whom Magneto named after his friend Charles Xavier.
In this timeline, Rogue and Gambit are married and have two kids: Oli and Becka. Rogue finally got her powers fully under control, which is how she was able to have children. Rogue is a presumably doting mother until her unfortunate demise later in the series.
Rogue is caring person, mostly towards her fellow X-Men. She cares for everyone, especially her father-figure Logan. However, she is also violent when those she cares about are in danger.
While both formidable on their own, Destiny and Mystique share a deep love that makes them one of Marvel's most influential power couples, even in the face of an uncertain future.
Soon after this, Magneto and Gambit were attacked by a mutant known as Wolverine. Unable to save them both, Rogue chose to save Magneto and left Gambit to his fate. Gambit survived but, realizing Rogue had chosen Magneto, he left the X-Men. Rogue and Magneto would later marry and have a son together.
Years ago Mystique had an affair with Victor Creed and they had a son, Graydon Creed, the recently-assassinated presidential candidate and hater of mutants.
Since joining the X-Men, Rogue has become closest with her roommate, Kitty, and maintains a crush on the X-Men's field leader, Scott.
Mystique has at least two biological children: Nightcrawler, who she fathered with the demon Azazel, and the late anti-mutant campaigner Graydon Creed, who she fathered with Sabretooth. Mystique was also the adoptive mother to Rogue, taking her in when she ran away from home following the manifestation of her powers.

The twins were members of the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, though they would later defect to the Avengers. In addition to Wanda and Pietro, Magneto also has another daughter from an affair: Lorna Dane, AKA Polaris. These three children represent different aspects of Magneto.
Pietro Lensherr, a.k.a. Quicksilver, is the son of mutant supremacist Magneto and twin brother of Wanda. Magneto abandoned their human mother when the twins were children, taking them with him as he founded the Brotherhood of Mutants with Charles Xavier, whom the children regarded as an uncle.
Some characters like Mystique or Jacob Gavin have also been described as genderfluid by fans, and while I do not want to invalidate the way these characters have been interpreted by fans, their actual portrayal in-universe doesn't match the definition of genderfluidity.
She later told Wolverine that before had his memory wiped that they were lovers but that he is no longer the man she loved. She later left and rejoined Magneto.
It was just a cool design to show how deadly she could be. There isn't more to it. Both the one on her head and the others found along her belt are just decoration.
