In all battles we see lots of violence and blood. Characters are smashed, thrown down from great heights, decapitated, and sometimes brutally killed by people that they love. In some episodes we see lots of people losing their houses and families by giant tailed creatures and other ninjas.
Naruto is definitely full of betrayal, vengeance, struggles and death. However there isn't much gore and extreme brutality.
An AMAZING sequel to the popular Naruto franchise, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the original Naruto series (make sure you watch the first series first). I have to say though, as much I love this show, I can't recommend this to anyone under 12 or 13 it's just too violent.
Yes , a 11 year old can easily watch Naruto/Naruto Shippuden as there is no such above 18 content, but be sure to watch it with your child as there are some scenes related to death of some of the favourite characters(eg- Jiraya) in the anime.
It was a pretty violent show but is not as gory as other animes. I think it deserves it's MA15+ but would be okay for some children if they are mature and have watched other animes. And besides the anime is not that graphic in violence. 4 people found this helpful.
Lots of fantasy violence, including bloody injuries and corpses, including those of young children. It also features disturbing images of people turning into demons or eating human flesh. Did you know you can flag iffy content? Adjust limits for Violence & Scariness in your kid's entertainment guide.
The blood from these scenes was removed in the original English dub of Naruto. It was either digitally removed or the scene would be skipped. These scenes became less frequent over time, so there was less need for censorship.
Since the start of Naruto, Sakura was infamous for her anger issues. She was very rude to Naruto, often punching him over minor things. Sakura's exaggerated anger was so prevalent that many fans grew to hate her.
According to MyAnimeList appropriate age is “PG-13 - Teens 13 or older”.
Naruto Shippuden is recommended for all ages.
There's some fantasy violence (blood, fighting, use of weapons, and dead bodies). Expect lots of action and fighting. Characters get slashed, stabbed, and injured, and they can die in fights. Blood is shown but never any detailed gore.
Swearing is not excessive but still present and includes words such as hell and damn. (Deleted. Personal opinions about fake subtitle with strong languages are not appropriate for the Parents Guide.) Swearing only goes up to "bastard" in sub, all swears in dub are extremely infrequent.
In the Cartoon Network version the blood that was on the ninja's face was digitally removed. The scene that shows blood coming out of Iruka's nose was modified for the Cartoon Network broadcast. In the Cartoon Network version the blood was digitally removed.
Yes! You can skip every single Naruto filler episode without missing out on the main plotline of the anime. However, we suggest watching a few filler episodes like the one with Kakashi's face reveal, Killer Bee's fights, Guy and Lee training, and more.
Naruto. Type: Television series. Rating: PG. Age range: 11 years and older.
Parents need to know that Naruto is the first anime series in a massive franchise that includes spin-off shows, video games, and movies. Expect lots of nongraphic violence, potentially scary monsters, and traumatized kids with dark backstories, including one main character whose family was murdered in front of him.
Naruto: Shippūden is a Japanese anime that was produced by Pierrot. The anime was released from February 15, 2007 to March 23, 2017. When the anime began airing on Disney XD in the United States on October 29, 2009, it was censored.
If I remember correctly, it was mentioned by Jiraiya that the Bijuu chakra actually 'burns' Naruto to the extent that we see his skins peel off and turn to ashes. The red colour of the Bijuu form is due to his blood mixing with the Bijuu chakra.
Unfortunately, Naruto Shippuden Uncut is not one of the many exceptional anime series available on Netflix.
The subtitles have mild profanity occasionally. Nothing worse than "damn" or "hell" in english versions. Profanity is PG-level when it is present, with most episodes having no profanity whatsoever. In English Dub, There some mild languages include "hell", "damn", "bastard", and "crap".
As per the official ratings, Demon Slayer is rated as “MA”, which means mature. That standard is defined as follows: This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore may be unsuitable for children under 17.
Due to all of that,I'd have to say that this series is for 13+ for a general audience but ultimately you'd have to decide based on your knowledge of how mature your own children are if you want to let them watch it at a younger age.
