HE TRIED TO MARRY HER BECAUSE HE WANTED HER FORTUNE. HE DID NOT FEEL ANY ATTRACTION TO HER WHATSOEVER. I hate talking about this because it makes me uncomfortable for what should be obvious reasons but, no, Olaf is attracted to Violet.
In the Netflix adaptation, Olaf also goes in to kiss Violet, although he stops and states "okay" when Violet abruptly refused. However, this gesture could just be his way of mocking her because Count Olaf had been known to do such things to others.
Unfortunately, the children soon realize that their new guardian is orchestrating a sinister plot in which he would literally marry the teenage Violet during a theater performance to gain ownership of the children's enormous fortune.
He is the love interest for Josephine Anwhistle, Georgina Orwell, Esmé Squalor, Babs, Olivia Caliban (books only), and Kit Snicket.
Klaus later tells Violet Count Olaf's full plan: He means to marry her for real so that he can control the enormous Baudelaire fortune. In order to get Violet to agree to the marriage, Count Olaf kidnaps Sunny and hangs her in a birdcage from the top of the tower.
Violet Baudelaire and Duncan quagmire ❝can you love me most?
The consensus amongst the fandom is that Violet and Quigley held hands and/or kissed.
In addition to the Henchperson of Indeterminate Gender, A Series of Unfortunate Events introduces its audience to Sir (Don Johnson) and Charles (Rhys Darby), a gay couple who operate a lumber mill. Initially introduced as partners to the Baudelaire children, the pair is revealed to be gay by Lemony Snicket.
Esme experienced the most "love" of the three women, Olaf did seem to value her thoughts, opinions and feelings but I don't think he loved her as he was hardly bothered when she quit and broke up with him, she started to be a nuisance to him rather than a partner in crime as well.
Al Funcoot from The Bad Beginning
Al Funcoot is a fake playwright who serves as Olaf's nom de plume in the first book.
As Olaf is dying, Count Olaf kisses her gently on the mouth, saying that he told her he'd do that one last time, a possible implication that the two were romantically involved before Olaf became a villain. Right before Olaf dies, the two recite a bit of poetry together.
The ribbon was mentioned throughout A Series of Unfortunate Events, making small but important appearances in stressful situations. Violet uses it to keep her hair out of her eyes so as to better focus on her inventions.
Violet Baudelaire, the oldest (age 14 at the start of the series, then 15 in The Grim Grotto and 16 by the end of the series). Violet is an intelligent, avid inventor and on numerous occasions saves the lives of her siblings Klaus and Sunny.
Olaf and his men fought Alfvine's crew and won every battle, but did not kill any of them; instead, they bound them. Alfvine was told to leave the country and never come back again. Gyda and Olaf married, and spent half their time in England and the other half in Ireland.
Esmé Gigi Geniveve Squalor is Count Olaf's girlfriend. Prior to the events of the series she was a professional stage actress and member of V.F.D. Esmé is distinguished by her obsession with high fashion.
He believed that because Lemony Snicket's sister, Kit, smuggled poisoned darts to the Baudelaire parents at some point, that they were the ones responsible for his parents deaths. Hence, his hatred for the Baudelaire children.
Esmé Squalor, it seems, is only interested in the sugar bowl because it completes her tea set and was stolen from her by Beatrice Baudelaire and Lemony Snicket. However, in "The End" Kit reveals to the Baudelaires that the sugar bowl does actually contain something of value: sugar.
We can assume that Beatrice at one time believed that Snicket was dead. When Lemony was revealed to be alive, she had already married Bertrand and she could not marry him.
In the second series, the viewer sees Violet develop a love interest with Duncan Quagmire. But, this does not take over the plot or get in the way of her independence.
It is mentioned in later books that 'a girl named Fiona had broken Klaus' heart', indicating that he had a crush on her. The Baudelaires go to Briny Beach and meet Kit Snicket, Lemony Snicket's younger sister, in a taxi, due to finding a coded poem sent from Quigley.
Lemony Snicket (Patrick Warburton) was in love with Beatrice, even though she married their father, Bertrand. (Lemony Snicket is not the secret father of the Baudelaires!)
The Henchperson of Indeterminate Gender was portrayed by actor Matthew Richard Cardarople, as Matty Cardarople, in the Netflix TV series adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
She doesn't like Duncan and she's pulling the classic "Ill ignore it and hope it goes away" Strategy. This could also explain why she didn't try harder to get in the self-sustaining mobile home at the end of the episode.
In The Austere Academy (Tv Show), Isadora kisses Klaus.
He had feelings for both, but his feelings for Fiona were more like a passion, but with Izzy it was well developed during the books.
