"Peaky Blinders" is one of my absolute favorite series! Cillian Murphy in the leading role is terrific and all the other characters are cast perfectly across the board. The series' story of a gang leader who desperately wants to make it legal is outstanding and is told so well that you just can't switch off.
Right now you can watch Peaky Blinders on Netflix.
Peaky Blinders is a widely underrated show. Yes, it starts out a bit shaky with the character development and the Brummie accent and the storyline. But as the series progresses forward, it is a whole new level of entertainment.
WORST: Chester Campbell
Chester Campbell may just be the most despicable and disliked character of Peaky Blinders. In season 1, he's racing to find Tommy's stolen guns but soon makes it a personal vendetta, after he feels that Tommy has stolen Grace away from him.
Much like the first season, Series Two was very fast-paced with a lot of surprises and cliffhangers along the way. It was also the last season with the main cast together before the deaths and much darker themes we saw as the show progressed. What was your favorite Peaky Blinders season? Beware lots of alcohol and violence (duh). 16+ should watch with parental guidance. Season 1: sex that doesn't show parts and besides one scene towards the end, it is fine for mature teens.
Peaky Blinders was a real notorious gang back in the day, that consisted of bookmakers and gangsters. The gang, however, became more alive in his imagination and he turned it into an appealing narrative from his own source of myth and poetry. It's particularly ubiquitous amongst middle-aged men; it's a way to adopt a style stance that isn't overtly “fashion” and the benefit of Peaky Blinders is that it's a look bedded in swaggering masculinity, thanks to the brutishness of the characters.

His plans are always jam-packed with wisdom. “When you plan something well, there's no need to rush.” Thomas Shelby meticulously plans every detail. He even visualizes events before they occur. He is always aware of what is going on and where it is going on.

A big reason for season 4 being the best of Peaky Blinders is the emergence of a villain who truly puts Tommy and the others on the ropes when Mobster Luca Changretta (Adrien Brody) shows up in Birmingham to get revenge for the murder of his father at the hands of Blinders.
Set in Birmingham, it follows the exploits of the Peaky Blinders crime gang in the direct aftermath of the First World War. The fictional gang is loosely based on a real urban youth gang of the same name who were active in the city from the 1880s to the 1910s.

In 1919, Finn is ten years old, soon to be eleven in a couple days, and only has a minor role in the family business, with no real power. His Aunt Polly often tries to shield him from the worst excesses of the Peaky Blinders. He is closely guarded by older brother and leader of the Peaky Blinders, Thomas Shelby.
When it comes to Peaky Blinders there really is only one person who can take the top spot when it comes to intelligence, and that is Tommy Shelby. The leader of the group and the man behind all of the plans and business ideas, Tommy has a reason for everything he does.
He is always thinking a few steps ahead and he tends to plan everything very detailed. I would say his IQ is somewhere between 120 and 130.
Seasons 2 and 4 contain the most graphic violence. There is a scene where a man gets stabbed in the face multiple times onscreen and his face is very bloody and disfigured.
