Salazar Slytherin's locket
After robbing Hepzibah, Voldemort made another Horcrux by killing a homeless Muggle, then hid the locket in a remote cave protected by Dark magic and Inferi.
Dec. 28, 1997: Ron Weasley destroys Salazar Slytherin's locket deep in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, by stabbing it with Godric Gryffindor's sword.
The Dark Lord — aka Voldemort — created seven Horcruxes in an attempt to sustain immortality.
Quirrell is, in effect, turned into a temporary Horcrux by Voldemort. He is greatly depleted by the physical strain of fighting the far stronger, evil soul inside him.
So when Ron said three, it wasn't a mistake. He meant there were three more horcruxes to destroy before being able to destroy the fourth and final piece which was in fact Voldemort himself.
In the Chamber itself, we see a large statue of a wizard, which Harry presumes is Salazar Slytherin. We also meet Tom Riddle, who is, as it turns out, the heir of Slytherin.
Harry Potter and Dumbledore recovered this locket from a seaside cave at great cost, weakening Dumbledore hours before his murder, only to discover that it was a fake.
Kreacher returned to Grimmauld Place, unable ever to tell Mistress Black what had happened to her son, and unable to destroy the locket as ordered because of the powerful enchantments protecting it.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
Since he had just murdered Harry's parents in cold blood and attempted to kill a defenseless infant, there was enough justification for the creation of a Horcrux. At that moment, Voldemort's soul latched onto the only living thing in the building — Harry himself. For almost his entire life, Harry was a Horcrux.
Harry was the unintended 8th horcrux, due to his souls being so unstable by being split more than once. The other 6 horcruxes are: HuffleCup.
Harry describes Umbridge to Sirius Black, saying that she's vile enough to be a Death Eater, despite not being one. Umbridge is also depicted to be a prejudiced person, despising half-breeds and Muggle-born witches and wizards to the point of firing Hagrid due to his half-giant birth status.
Born Helena Ravenclaw, she was a witch and daughter of one of Hogwarts' founders, Rowena Ravenclaw. Helena turned into the ghost known as the Grey Lady after she was brutally murdered by the Bloody Baron. The character was portrayed by actress Kelly MacDonald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
Upon learning of the diadem's location, Riddle travelled to the Albanian forest shortly after he left school and acquired the diadem. He transformed it into his fifth Horcrux by killing an Albanian peasant, and later chose to return it to the very place it had originated from: Hogwarts.
Question number one: Why didn't Dumbledore just give the sword of Gryffindor to Harry instead of leaving it to him in his will? He knew even before his death that Harry would need the sword to destroy Horcruxes, and he must have known that the Ministry would not let Harry get the sword.
Harry is frightened of losing the locket and tells the others that he doesn't want it to be left lying around. However after Ron's departure, Harry and Hermione do spend some periods of time not wearing the locket to give themselves a break from it.
Because his secondary goal, after destroying Lord Voldemort was to pull the Deathly Hallows together and become Master of Death.
The Heir of Slytherin turns out to be Ginny Weasley, who is being controlled via a magical diary that once belonged to Tom Riddle, AKA Voldemort.

Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin. The problem with being a female Slytherin heir, is that they're cursed.
William "Bill" Arthur Weasley is the eldest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley; he is two years older than Charlie, the second son. He is tall with long, red hair tied into a ponytail and a fang earring, both of which his mother disapproves of. At Hogwarts he was in Gryffindor House and Head Boy in his seventh year.
The hugely successful author tells Wonderland magazine she chose the red-haired Ron for Hermione for very personal reasons having little to do with literature. She told the magazine she “wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfilment” and said the couple might eventually need relationship counselling.
Hermione and Ron were beginning to have romantic feelings for each other, and they held off because hugging would have given conflicting signals.
