A year later, Homelander was born. Yup, Soldier Boy is Homelander's biological father.
Series Information
Jonah Vogelbaum was a retired Vought scientist and Homelander's father figure.
In the closing moments of The Boys season 3, episode 7 ("Here Comes A Candle To Light You To Bed") Homelander receives an unexpected phone call from Soldier Boy, who stunningly claims they're father and son.
It is later revealed that Homelander is Soldier Boy's son. The character has received a positive reception.
Since Soldier Boy seemingly craves a similar sense of belonging as his son, it is hard not to wonder what changed his mind toward the end of The Boys season 3. However, one exchange with Butcher hints that Soldier Boy's antipathy towards Homelander actually originates from his own toxic relationship with his father.
Homelander and Soldier Boy have sex in the "Herogasm" stretch of #TheBoys comics, though that didn't happen in the Amazon series' take on the storyline. This week's episode explained why. "The Boys" star Jensen Ackles breaks down the major twist between Soldier Boy and Homelander revealed ahead of next week's finale.
Even though Soldier Boy could not take down Homelander with the help of Hughie and Butcher (Karl Urban) using temporary doses of Compound V, it was abundantly clear that he is still the closest anyone has been to the individual strength of Homelander.
The three regroup at a motel and negotiate the terms of their alliance. Butcher and Hughie agree to give Soldier Boy information about his former teammates, and once he has his revenge, Soldier Boy will use his powers to kill Homelander.
Ben, better known as Soldier Boy, is a major antagonist in the Amazon TV adaption of the comic book series The Boys. He serves as a mentioned character in Seasons 1 and 2, and one of the two main antagonists (along with Homelander) of Season 3 and will return in some capacity in Season 4.
While Soldier Boy's new powers make him more formidable, Homelander's full array of abilities gives him the edge. He can fly away from Soldier Boy's attacks and use that same power to quickly surprise him. There is also no telling how Soldier Boy will react to Homelander's laser eyes.
However, Noir's fear of Soldier Boy is surprisingly bigger than his loyalty to Homelander. When Noir escaped from Vought due to the news of Soldier Boy returning, Homelander was genuinely distraught over the news as he believed Noir always had his back.
It is possible that Soldier Boy could remove Homelander as a threat by taking away his powers. This would be more likely then outright killing the guy. Homelander is on the more immortal side, a little like Kimiko, so we could see Soldier Boy's abilities to take out Homelander's powers.
The grand finale of The Boys comic book series confirms that there is only one hero who is actually stronger than Homelander, and that's his (even more) evil clone, Black Noir. Created to be an upgraded version of Homelander, Black Noir proves his superiority in the final battle between these two deranged powerhouses.
When Becca worked for Vought, she was sexually assaulted by Homelander. She became pregnant with his superhuman child, and knowing how dangerous Homelander was, she ran away and kept the child a secret.
A few days after the party, Becca met with Homelander in a private room where he raped her. After that night, Becca was troubled on how to handle the situation. After January 24th, 2012, she went to Vought for help and confirmed she was pregnant with Homelander's child.
Black Noir is the clone of the Homelander, and was created by Vought-American with refined Compound-V. Vought created him as a contingency plan in order to ensure that Homelander never oversteps his bounds, and kill him if he does.
"Mother's" Milk, primarily known as MM, is depicted as a regular human (though still a military veteran) with a dislike of Vought and its Supes resulting from a car crash caused by Soldier Boy in MM's youth, which killed his mother, uncle, and grandfather, and led to his father working himself to death as a lawyer ...
Amazon Prime Soldier Boy is a war hero in both the comics and the show. In the TV version of The Boys, the character is also a WWII hero who possesses superhuman speed, strength and durability, again thanks to a special serum.
His powers are standard leading man abilities in the comic world: superhuman strength, superhuman speed, and superhuman longevity. He can move as quickly, punch as hard, and age as slowly as Homelander. In the comics, he can also generate powerful energy blasts.
Weaknesses: When Soldier Boy's PTSD is triggered, his emotional state can get out of control, causing him to lose control over his powers.
Kimiko is the strongest hero of The Boys, with heightened levels of superhuman strength, durability, speed, and reflexes. She also possesses an accelerated healing factor that allows her to heal almost as fast as she's injured.
In the comic series, Noir is revealed to be a clone of the Homelander, created to replace him if he ever went rogue. Driven insane by a lack of purpose, Noir resolved to frame the Homelander for various atrocities as part of a plan to gradually drive him insane and replace him.
Blunt Force/Limited Durability: Supes such as Homelander, Soldier Boy, Black Noir, Queen Maeve, and Stormfront possess strength greater than hers and can overpower and even kill her.
When Soldier Boy retaliates against Ryan, Butcher switches his allegiance, fighting off Soldier Boy in order to protect Ryan.
Trivia. He is a parody of Captain America. However, the difference between them is that Captain America is a brave and honorable superhero whereas Soldier Boy is the complete opposite.
