Sweet Potatoes
Cooked potatoes of all varieties are examples of easy to digest foods. Sweet potatoes are especially gentle on the digestive tract because they are mostly made up of insoluble fiber, which speeds up digestion and promotes regularity.
Sweet potatoes are more nutritious than white potatoes, and they still provide insoluble fiber, helping firm up stool and reduce the symptoms of diarrhea.

Potatoes are a great source of carbs and are also soothing to the stomach. Baked potatoes or even sweet potatoes are encouraged. Decaffeinated teas might bring some comfort to your digestive system, unlike caffeinated drinks which are often too harsh.
Although there is no harm in taking this carbohydrate, excess intake may be troublesome for those suffering from stomach discomfort. Having excessive sweet potatoes when suffering from stomach discomfort may lead to diarrhea, stomach aches, and bloating.
If your sweet potato is oozing, soft and squishy, discolored, smelly, or have a bunch of sprouts, it's time to toss. If there are only a few sprouts and the sweet potato is still firm you can cut the sprouted portion off, cook and eat right away, or you can plant it!

Burnt Toast
Adding a bit of jam to make the toast more palatable is fine but don't smother it in butter as dairy products can irritate an already delicate stomach.

Chicken soup or miso soup are both good options to try. Another excellent option for an upset stomach is a clear broth soup. The broth will help keep you hydrated and accessible to your digestive system. Avoid soups that are too greasy or spicy, as these can worsen your symptoms.
Pasta, white rice, and cereals such as cream of wheat, farina, oatmeal, and cornflakes are OK. You may also try pancakes and waffles made with white flour, and cornbread.
So although milk temporarily coats the lining of the stomach, buffering the acid in your stomach and making you feel a bit better, the relief might last for only twenty minutes or so. In other words milk may have many benefits, but settling an upset stomach isn't one of them.
