The Sound Hashira might have a cool character design, but his power isn't really anything noteworthy. This is especially true when compared to some other Hashira in Demon Slayer who boast truly impressive powers. As a result, Tengen Uzui has to deal with the moniker of being the least powerful Hashira around.
Demon Slayer's Tengen Uzui is considered to be one of the weakest Hashira due to almost losing this fight, but the fact is that Tengen only looks weak when compared to the most overpowered Hashira.
In terms of physical strength, Tengen Uzui is far from being the weakest Hashira. While his feats throughout the Daki and Gyutaro battles certainly displayed this, there's additional evidence to show that he's not the weakest Hashira.
Kyojuro Rengoku surpasses Tengen on many levels, be it strength, Breathing Technique, or battle Intellect. So to cut a long story short, Kyojuro Rengoku is more powerful than Tengen Uzui.
5 Speed: Tengen
Rengoku's fight in the Mugen Train arc showed his incredible speed and reflexes. He was able to match Akaza's speed, and his movements were so fast that it was almost impossible for the naked eye to keep up.
But, comparing the two characters in their best forms, Zenitsu might be just a tad bit faster owing to his Godspeed move.
Demon Slayers are known for their strength and bravery in battle, but not Zenitsu. Despite his cowardice, he's one of the strongest in the series. The life of a demon slayer is one of hardship.
Zenitsu Agatsuma
Zenitsu and Tengen growing angry at each other. When the two originally meet, Zenitsu develops a disdain for Tengen after he attempted to kidnap the girls of the Butterfly Mansion, and due to his flamboyant personality, even referring to him as the "god of idiots."
8 Shinobu Kocho, The Insect Hashira
That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
Shinobu Kocho (The Insect Hashira) While we don't necessarily think Shinobu Kocho is physically weak by any means, we do believe that she is currently positioned at the bottom of the totem pole compared to her fellow Hashira members.
With all said and done, Tengen Uzui is one of the strongest and most extremely skilled Demon slayer in the series, his physical abilities, combat skills and strategic thinking makes him a tough opponent to defeat in a battle.
Despite being the lowest of the Upper Ranks, Gyutaro showed much of his demonic prowess by making Tengen lose his left arm and his left eye in battle. However, Giyu would have been a better opponent for the demon and could have defeated him without losing any limbs.
Nezuko setting Tengen on fire. By the end of the battle, Gyutaro's poison has spread throughout Tengen's body resulting in his inability to speak. As he lays dying from the poison, Nezuko Kamado intervenes and uses her her Blood Demon Art to burn the poison out of his system, allowing him to rejoice with his wives.
Zenitsu is clearly on the same level as Hashira. If we compare him to Shinobu, his speed is far better, while she lacks quite a lot in raw power. There is a good chance that he could beat Shinobu if the two decide to fight.
At the moment, he can only use Thunderclap and Flash: God Speed two times, and he severely injures himself while doing it. If he can overcome these limitations, Zenitsu could be as consistently powerful as Tengen.
Tanjiro Is Strong, and Stronger than Zenitsu as he uses Sun Breathing.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
Shinobu Kocho Is the Weakest Hashira
Of the three Hashira who were killed by Upper-Ranks -- Rengoku, Shinobu and Tokito -- Shinobu was the only one who was killed almost instantly when she encountered Doma, Upper-Rank Two.
1) Shinobu Kocho
The Insect Pillar of Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu is undeniably the smartest individual. She might not be physically stronger than others, but her intelligence is what kept her going.
7) Obanai Iguro
Many fans argue that he is faster than many of his peers because of his battle against Muzan. Despite being wholly blinded, he could go toe-to-toe against the Demon King. If he had perfect vision, Obanai would have been even faster. His technique focuses on twisting and bending the sword like a serpent.
Gyomei Himejima is the strongest Hashira in Demon Slayer. This fact has been established in the manga as Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu all agree that he is the strongest member of the Demon Slayer Corps. His strength was showcased during the fight against Kokushibo.
