Thanos is an Eternal, this means that he belongs to a race of ancient and superpowered beings created by Celestials. Thanos is, however, different than all other Eternals due to carrying a mutation in his genetic code which manifested as the condition known as Deviant Syndrome.
An Eternal–Deviant warlord from the moon Titan, Thanos is regarded as one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. He has clashed with many heroes including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Fantastic Four, the Eternals, and the X-Men.
In the comics, Thanos and Eros are born on the Saturnian moon Titan to two Eternal parents, A'lars and Sui-San. Eros is born without the Deviant mutation, but Thanos is born with Deviant Syndrome. They're biological brothers, but they look wildly different. So, in the original comics, Thanos is an Eternal, full stop.
That's why Thanos looks like a giant purple guy; Thanos' Deviant gene deformed his appearance. On the other hand, Eros looks like a regular human, just like other Eternals, because they belong to the same evolutionary path.
Let's talk about Eros
Like many fictional brothers, the two do not like each other, and Thanos will often just capture and torment Eros. They do get along, sometimes: They once had to work together to defeat Thanos' future self, and they have a truce to meet once a year and bring each other gifts.
Eros is the youngest son of A'lars (also known as Mentor) and Sui-San, the nephew of Zuras, and the grandnephew of Uranos. He grew up on Titan to be a fun-loving, carefree womanizer and adventurer in contrast to his brother Thanos, a power-hungry, nihilistic conqueror.
Thanos' Brother Eros Is a Great Villain, But Marvel Needs Him as a Hero. Thanos' brother Eros reveres all life.
According to all the myths, Eros was beautiful, but also a permanent source of trouble for both the gods and the mortals. He appeared and threw his arrows, causing insane love and at the same time, suffering to people.
Peter Jason Quill was born in 1980 to Meredith Quill and Ego, making him a hybrid of human and Celestial. His conception was all part of a plot set up by his father to produce a second Celestial, whose power he could use to complete the Expansion, which involved assimilating millions of worlds into Ego's very being.
Gilgamesh
In terms of raw physical strength, Gilgamesh (Don Lee) is easily the strongest Eternal.
Hulk, Thor, and Thanos were not Starfox's level. Despite having a lot of raw power, he couldn't defeat his brother by himself. Assuming that Starfox's powers are anything like those of his comic counterpart, he would have fared much better against Thanos than most of the Avengers in both Infinity War and Endgame.
Thanos is powerful in the MCU due to his Titan origins, his incredible intelligence, his cybernetic enhancements, and in large part, his equipment. Thanos also had centuries of combat experience before he set his sights on Infinity Stones.
Thanatos, in ancient Greek religion and mythology, the personification of death. Thanatos was the son of Nyx, the goddess of night, and the brother of Hypnos, the god of sleep. He appeared to humans to carry them off to the underworld when the time allotted to them by the Fates had expired.
Physical appearance changes
With Brolin's first appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, motion capture technology was used to capture Brolin's facial features, with Thanos' skin also being changed to a darker shade of purple than it had been in The Avengers.
Thanos has purple skin because he is an Eternal-Deviant hybrid. His Deviant genes make him look different from the rest of his species by giving him his brutish physique, height, and iconic chin. These Deviant genes likewise resulted in him having a completely different skin tone – purple.
From that moment on, Eros and Psyche lived happily together in their lovely palace, which was always full of roses and other flowers.
Symbol or Attribute: The spear. He is also associated with vultures and dogs. Strengths:Decisive, determined, fearless. Weaknesses: Impulsive, bloodthirsty, raring for a fight regardless of the consequences.
Eros, also known as Starfox, is a member of the genetically engineered Eternals. Created by Arishem the Judge in the World Forge, he was stationed on Titan, joining the royal family as a prince and becoming the adoptive brother of Thanos.
Eros's hatred for Apollo worsens after he learns that Apollo raped his best friend Persephone. While Eros has promised Persephone not to reveal what Apollo has done, he has trouble controlling his rage whenever he is around him.
Psyche Betrays Eros
Scorched and in pain, Eros awoke. Above him, he saw Psyche wielding a razor and fire, so he fled. Psyche catches onto Eros as he begins to fly, apologizing for her mistrust, but he rejects. For her betrayal, Eros vows that she will never see him again.
Eros was a god not simply of passion but also of fertility. His brother was Anteros, the god of mutual love, who was sometimes described as his opponent.
Superhuman strength: All Eternals have the capacity for superhuman physical strength. Starfox's physical strength is roughly average for an Eternal, and he can lift about 15 tons.
Even though there hasn't been an official announcement about Eternals 2, Patton Oswalt, who played Pip the Troll in one of Eternals' post-credits scenes, said in August 2022 that a sequel announcement was imminent and that Chloé Zhao would be returning as the director.
Starfox, AKA Eros, grew up on Titan alongside his brother Thanos, embracing all the pleasures that life has to offer. He later became Starfox and an official member of the Avengers. He is an adventurer and a cosmically-enhanced super-being.
