This is a vampire horror movie, so not suitable for the under-15s due to the blood, gore and violence.
Due to the maturity and language in this book, the appropriate age range would be in the teens and up. If you like page turning novels that get you thinking than the great inspiring book, The Lost Boy is for you.

Originally Laddie was supposed to be around 14 years old in Jeffrey Boam's script for The Lost Boys and Sam Emerson was supposed to be eleven years old. Not surprisingly, Squid Game is rated TV-MA, meaning for mature audiences only.
While this is a well thought out show, I still find it hard to believe that children watch it. This was a bit hard for me to watch even, I had to look away in some scenes because of too much gore. If your kid is fine with gore, I would say that you should let them watch this.

The “Buddi” dolls in the film seem like a logical step in that direction - walking, talking cameras and microphones that monitors you constantly, awaiting orders. The “R” rating from the MPAA ought to give you a good idea that Child's Play isn't going to be the best film for your ten-year-old's birthday party.
