Great movie with great message for the family to discuss. Violence with a purpose but still a little violent. No sexuality. 1-2 curse words.
Rated PG-13 for sequences of strong violence, action and some language.
Profanity (5)
A few uses of the word "shit." Some uses of "damn" and "hell," but generally speaking, the amount of profanity is low.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is rated PG-13 for sequences of strong violence, action, and some language which means some content may not be suitable for kids under age 13.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is coming to Historic Elitch Theatre this summer! FILM RATING: Please note that this film is PG-13!
Because of its violence and scary scenes, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever isn't suitable for children under 12 years, and we recommend parental guidance for children aged 12-14 years.
The MPAA rating has been assigned for “sequences of strong violence, action and some language.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes a sexual reference, a tender kiss, many scenes of superpowers being used to fight, other fight scenes using spears and knives, a few fight scenes with water bombs and other explosives ...
Black Panther isn't recommended for children under 13 years, and we recommend parental guidance for children aged 13-15 years. That's because the intense and brutal violence is shown in a way that's likely to make the violent scenes seem more real to younger viewers.
Great movie with great message for the family to discuss. Violence with a purpose but still a little violent. No sexuality. 1-2 curse words.
Wakanda Forever Age Rating: What Ages Can Really Watch This One? Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is rated PG-13 for strong violence, intense action, and language.
Although all MCU movies have been rated PG-13, which means they're each allowed one use of the F-word, Marvel Studios has refrained from including that particular swear word. Other, less severe curse words have been used, leading to Captain America's "Language!" joke in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but never the F-word.
Parents Guide: Is Avatar: The Way of Water Appropriate For Kids Under 13? If your kids have seen Avatar (2009) and enjoyed it, they are probably safe to watch Avatar 2 as it's generally more of the same. It's actually very much more of the same as the plot doesn't change too much from the first film.
In North America it was a PG-13 film again, so similar limit to the UK. Both acted as a good guide for the second film in the growing series. There's the same kind of moderate violence and intense battles as in Avatar (2009). The sequel resets things a little, but it pulls no punches.
This movie, while very good, is not appropriate as a family movie, certainly not for 12 year olds as indicated.
Parents Need to Know
As in all superhero movies, there's plenty of violence -- in this case, mostly brutal hand-to-hand combat that gets quite intense, with bloody injuries and even deaths.
Multiple sequences of action. Most of which does not involve gore but a few drops of blood are present. Many people die in sad and sometimes horrific ways. While no blood or gore are present during those deaths, they way they die can be upsetting to some.
(3) PG-13 - Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13. A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them.
Iron Man is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for some intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and brief suggestive content. Tony Stark's playboy approach to life includes gambling, frequent drinking to the point of intoxication and sexual activity with a variety of women.
"Black Panther" is rated PG-13; Common Sense Media recommends it for ages 12 and above. It's an action film with limited gore (I don't believe I saw blood once) but there are plenty of explosions, gunfire and, in a couple scenes, death. Sex isn't hinted at beyond a passionate kiss near the end. STAY CONNECTED!

MPAA explanation: for occasional crude and suggestive humor and language.
Avatar has a run time of 2 hours and 41 minutes, so most kids will not want to sit through the film. In Avatar you can expect to see intense violent scenes, some sensuality, smoking and alcohol use, and profanity used by some of the characters. To sum it up, Avatar is not kid-friendly for kids under 10 years old.
With less than a month remaining until its premiere, Avatar: The Way of Water has officially received a PG-13 rating from the Motion Picture Association. The description for this rating, per Filmratings.com, cites "sequences of strong violence and intense action, partial nudity and some strong language".
The LGBTQ+ representation in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever might not exactly be extensive — coming down mostly to a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment of affection between Michaela Coel's character Aneka and Florence Kasumba's Ayo — but it's enough for the moment to have been cut for the film's release in one Gulf ...
