Followers of The Blood Type Diet may already know that turmeric is usable by all blood types and has been recommended in Peter J. D'Adamo's groundbreaking book, Eat Right 4 Your Type, as a valuable addition to a balanced diet.
BENEFICIAL or MEDICINE herbs, spices, and condiments for your type are mainly tamari, miso, molasses, blackstrap, wheat-free soy sauce, turmeric, parsley, barley malt flour, miso, alfalfa.
High doses of turmeric could have a blood-thinning effect; if taken on top of prescribed anticoagulants, this could increase the risk of dangerous bleeding. People with liver or bile duct problems should not take turmeric supplements, as they can increase bile production.
Blood Group: A
You should be largely vegetarian and follow a high carbohydrate, low fat diet. They should eat lots of rice, oats, rye, pasta, pumpkin, seeds, peanuts, apricots, figs, lemons, raisins, buckwheat, wheat, soy foods, walnuts, garlic, mushroom, pine apple, blueberries, ginger and green tea.
In terms of supplements, Vitamin B12 is important especially since the Type A diet is low on animal proteins. As mentioned before, Vitamin C as well as E is important in protecting against stomach cancer and heart disease. Calcium, iron and small amount of zinc are helpful supplements.
Those with type A blood should choose fruit, vegetables, tofu, seafood, turkey, and whole grains but avoid meat. For weight loss, seafood, vegetables, pineapple, olive oil, and soy are best; dairy, wheat, corn, and kidney beans should be avoided.
Taken together, the authors concluded that type O and Rh-negative blood groups may be protective against SARS-CoV-2 infection and illness.
Fruits and Vegetables
Blueberries, cherries, figs, pineapple, plums and grapefruit are the best fruits. Type A people are told they can have asparagus, cucumbers, avocados, beets, strawberries and apples a few times weekly, but should avoid bananas, oranges, cabbage, eggplant, tomatoes and potatoes.
Coffee. Organic, bird-friendly, or Swiss water process decaf coffee is your best choice. Coffee is slightly acidic (pH 5.0–5.1)—type A's need to increase stomach acid since they tend to have very low levels—and can have a stimulating effect because of its caffeine content.
Taking turmeric supplements may put you at a higher risk of getting kidney stones. Don't take turmeric supplements if: You're taking aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil , Motrin ), or Acetaminophen (Tylenol ). Turmeric may lessen the effects of these medications.
Taking turmeric in large doses has potential risks: Mild side effects include upset stomach, acid reflux, diarrhea, dizziness, and headaches. Consuming large doses of turmeric supplements can significantly increase urinary oxalate levels, increasing the risk of kidney stone formation.

Green tea is very beneficial to 'A' blood people, so is Chamomile and Rose hips. This tea will support your immune health and taste great with a bit of organic Agave syrup or raw brown sugar.
Digesting dairy is allegedly difficult for people with type A blood, but certain types of dairy may be acceptable, including: yogurt. kefir. cheeses, including mozzarella, feta, goat cheese, ricotta, and string.
Recent work has demonstrated an association between ABO blood types and COVID-19 risk. Using data from Wuhan and Shenzhen, Zhao et al. found a greater proportion of A and a lower proportion of O blood types among COVID-19 patients, relative to the general populations of Wuhan and Shenzhen [4].
BENEFICIAL. ALLOWED or NEUTRAL dairy products for your type are mainly ghee, kefir, goat milk, sour cream, yogurt; cheeses: farmer, feta, mozzarella, paneer, quark, ricotta; eggs: duck, chicken, goose, quail. Soya milk and cheese are excellent dairy substitutes for type A's.
Alcohol consumption should also be avoided. People belonging to this group are highly susceptible to diabetes and obesity. They have lower levels of stomach acid (hydrochloric acid), which helps in digestion and metabolisation of food. It has been seen that people with A-blood group have a sensitive immune system.
People with blood type A will be able to easily digest yogurt, kefir, goat milk products, and select cheeses (such as feta and goat cheese.) When it comes to healthy fats, most nuts are okay for blood type A.

Organic cereals and pulses such as brown rice, finger millet, nachni, bajra and jowar, quinoa and couscous, amaranth (rajgira), fresh vegetables like broccoli, mushroom, peppers, lady finger and spinach and other leafy greens as well as legumes will be good for Type A.
Of the eight main blood types, people with Type O have the lowest risk for heart attacks and blood clots in the legs and lungs. This may be because people with other blood types have higher levels of certain clotting factors, which are proteins that cause blood to coagulate (solidify).
Blood type O seems to have the lowest risk. Yet these risks are relative, meaning people with type O blood are not immune to COVID-19. "We do know that people of all types can get infected with COVID-19," says cardiologist Daniel Anderson, MD, PhD.
The survival curve in group B was worse than that in groups A, O, and AB. These findings suggest that in our patient population, blood group B is not a marker for longevity but may be a marker for earlier death.
