Could we ever make vibranium? It's unlikely any one material could perfectly mimic vibranium. But scientists could use other metals to do some of what vibranium can. Collins is interested in how vibranium was used to heal a gunshot wound.
Vibranium is Not Real
Vibranium is actually an alien metal that crashed to earth, hence its fantastical properties. While there were different crash sites throughout the globe, the most prominent was in the African country of Wakanda (also fictional).
James Kakalios, a physics, and astronomy professor at the University of Minnesota suggests a substance known as graphene would be the closest substance to vibranium known to man. Graphene is an ultra-thin form of carbon; only one atom thick.
Kevlar is the most obvious comparison to Black Panther's armor. The material is sturdy and has saved many heroes from would-be fatal bullets. It's not perfect, though. Kevlar is made from a para-aramid synthetic fiber, which is rigid despite being strong and lightweight.
According to issue 607 of Fantastic Four, Reed Richards reveals that vibranium costs $10,000 per gram. But you just can't go and buy vibranium if you were in marvel universe and you had that much money. For that you would have to have special permission from wakanda or basically from black panther.
Notes. In the Iron Man 2 novelization, the new element created by Tony Stark to replace Palladium in the arc reactor is called Vibranium. This information would later be invalidated by Captain America: The First Avenger, where Vibranium is shown as a rare metal already existing in the 1940s.
The company says that its Vibranium is 8 times lighter than aluminum and 10 times stronger than steel alternatives.
Original Habit. The Panther Habit's vibranium composition makes the user completely bulletproof and near-indestructible, able to withstand two explosive arrows from Hawkeye's arsenal at point-blank range without any noticeable damage.
Versatility Makes Vibranium Stronger
Adamantium is rigid and powerful but is only used in terms of weaponry, whereas Vibranium can be used for a variety of purposes. It has not only made weapons like Captain America's shield, Bucky Barnes's new arm, and the Black Panther suit but also made advancements in technology.
This paper evaluates Black Panther's vibranium suit, a character from a Marvel movie, with regards to the amount of kinetic energy it can absorb upon a collision with an average car travelling at a speed of 70 mph. A value of 734.30 kJ was calculated to be absorbed by the suit.
After many years of being kept a secret, Tony Stark finally rediscovered Vibranium and re-synthesized it into an Arc Reactor to create clean pure energy.
Tony had access to other materials and he was free to use and incorporate them into his technology, but Vibranium is a signature of Wakanda and Black Panther; it's part of their identity considering how much of it is used in various forms in the country.
First, vibranium is a very strong material, which is why it is often referred to as the hardest metal in the Marvel universe. This makes vibranium very difficult for attackers to break through. Additionally, vibranium does not rust, and it does not oxidize when it comes into contact with other metals.
Unlike adamantum, Magneto cannot manipulate vibranium – not if it's pure. Vibranium is a rare, extraterrestrial metallic ore. It has near-mystical properties that allow for energy manipulation and more. There is a Wakandan isotope and an Antarctic isotope, and both of them are completely unaffected by Magneto's powers.
In one of these episodes, there was a cage made of completely vibranium designed by Bruce Banner to contain the Hulk in case the would be a need. They tested it and while Hulk couldn't breakthrough he dented it with a divet in the shape of his fist. So technically no as far as we have seen.
Only an Uru blade would be capable of out powering Cap's shield in the Marvel Comic Universe. Vibranium is the strongest metle on earth. Adamantium is strong but not as vibranium so caps shield cannot be tear apart by logans claws. Only even few has broken the caps shield such as meastro etc.
Thanos' Sword Is Made From Uru
Uru is a special metal in the Marvel universe that is said to only be created in the core of dying stars, making it ultra rare and incredibly strong. In fact, Thor's Mjolnir is made of the Uru metal making it comparable to Thanos's sword in terms of strength.
Point is, Groot's husk is tougher than adamantium. Considering that Groot can manipulate his limbs and extend his roots to near infinite lengths, it only follows that he can alter the size of his entire body.
The vibranium absorbs as much as it can and if it's overloaded it'll release everything it's got. Thor, with Storm breaker would simply slice Black Panther in half. This isn't a question. Thor wins 100% of the time, no exceptions.
First of all, not all the Vibranium is found in Wakanda , but the major part of it. Howard Stark , father of Tony Stark once helped King T'Chaka , father of T'Challa and Wakanda. The help was so big that T'Challa gave few pounds of Vibranium to Howard as a gift.
In Avengers Infinity War, the Black Panther wears a suit that stores up kinetic energy in the Form of a purple glow, Thanos hits him soo hard that the suit can't store it and it explodes under him when he hits the ground...
In Age of Ultron, concentrated energy blasts of sufficient heat and power are also shown to be effective against Vibranium. Thor's lightning, Vision's Mind Stone lasers and Iron Man's repulsor beams were able to melt Ultron's body when used in combination, meaning that high enough temperatures can break Vibranium down.
The fact that Thanos possesses enough power to beak vibranium is a testament to the strength of the Mad Titan, but more importantly, the weapon itself. Although the origin of the sword is unknown, the evident force and qualities of the blade reveal clues to its composition.
Even the most powerful substances have their weaknesses, and Vibranium is no exception. The Wakandan metal, although near indestructible, is shown to be able to melt under the heat produced by the Mind Stone, when coupled with a single lightning bolt, courtesy of Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) Mjølnir.
