WhatsApp: Pretty private, to a point.
WhatsApp is indeed quite private when it comes to messages and voice communications when they are transmitted between people—yet not so much when it comes to other data that the app collects while you're using it.
You cannot read deleted messages on WhatsApp business directly, as they will also be erased from your chat history when they are deleted by the sender. However, you may be able to read deleted messages on WhatsApp business if you have enabled chat backup in the app's settings.
You'll have approximately 30 days to unkeep a message from the time it was kept. By default, media downloaded in WhatsApp will be automatically downloaded to your photos. If disappearing messages are turned on, media sent in the chat will disappear, but will be saved on the phone if auto-download is on.
In the Chats tab, tap More options > Settings > Chats > Chat history. Tap Delete all chats. Individual chats and status updates will be deleted from your Chats tab. However, group chats will still be visible in your Chats tab, and you'll still be part of them unless you exit them.

End-to-end encryption

Recover via local storage
Go to WhatsApp > Database. The database contains all the WhatsApp backup files that are stored locally. Select the 'msgstore. db.
By default, WhatsApp automatically backs up your chat history at 2 AM daily on Android and keeps it in the local storage for seven days. You can find the backup in File Manager > SD Card or Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Databases. However, you will find the content is encrypted and unreadable directly.
Weekly auto backups allow you to go further back in time to recover deleted WhatsApp messages from less than seven days ago at the expense of losing recent chat messages. Simply select the WhatsApp auto backup frequency that best suits your needs.
Myth: When you delete a text, it's gone.
That also means anyone can see your deleted messages if they have your passcode. Here's the good news: Text messages you unsend do not appear in the recently deleted messages file.
Open the chat or group where the message was sent and long press to select it. Then go to the delete option and you will see the 'delete for everyone' option.
