Felix originated from the studio of Australian cartoonist-film entrepreneur Pat Sullivan. Either Sullivan himself or his lead animator, American Otto Messmer, created the character. What is certain is that Felix emerged from Sullivan's studio, and cartoons featuring the character became well known in popular culture.
Feline Follies
Sullivan was an Australian-born animator who started his career as a cartoonist before setting up his own animation studio in 1916. There is still much debate over who originally created Felix the Cat. Many animation scholars attribute the character to Otto Messmer, one of Sullivan's animators.
Felix the Cat (Кот Феликс) is an unauthorized port of the NES game of the same name. It was created in Russia. The developer is not credited anywhere in the game, but it's assumed it was developed by BMB, and it is known that it was published by KDS (Kudos).

DreamWorks Animation has bought the rights to the 95-year-old feline cartoon icon Felix the Cat. The studio acquired the character by paying an undisclosed sum to Don Oriolo, whose father Joe helped revive Felix in the 1950s and later assumed ownership of the character.

Felix the Cat was the biggest cartoon star of the silent era – bar none. He was the first giant balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The Yankees adopted him as their mascot in 1922. Charles Lindbergh took a Felix doll with him on his famous transatlantic flight.

Winkler distributed the shorts from 1922 to 1925, the year when Educational Pictures took over the distribution of the shorts. Sullivan promised them one new Felix short every two weeks. The combination of solid animation, skillful promotion, and widespread distribution brought Felix's popularity to new heights.
Although there were earlier cats animated by the Pat Sullivan Studios, it is generally agreed that Feline Funnies, released on November 9, 1919, is the first appearance of Felix the Cat.
Betty Boop is the main protagonist of the cartoon series of the same name, originally called Talkartoons but renamed to her's after she became more popular and the main character. Betty is a 16-year-old girl dealing with the various misadventures of show business and other adventures.
After 25 years and 253 episodes, Arthur became the longest running children's animation as it first aired all the way back in 1996.
One of the earliest animated pornographic films was Eveready Harton in Buried Treasure, produced circa 1928, possibly produced for a private party in honor of Winsor McCay.
