Joseph Seed, also known as The Father, is the main antagonist of the 2018 video game Far Cry 5 and a major character in its 2019 sequel Far Cry New Dawn. He is also the titular protagonist of the Far Cry 6 DLC Joseph: Collapse, while a twisted version of him, known as The Voice, serves as the main antagonist.
A manipulator and liar, Faith will say anything to sway sympathy for her cause - including violence.
Baker said he would "choose the word antagonist" to describe Pagan Min as he does not believe that he is in fact a villain. In his view, Min is caring and benevolent if somewhat temperamental, and all he wants to be within the narrative of Far Cry 4 is a good king.
Seed truly believes that he was chosen by God and that he was told of the coming end of the world. His goal is to protect his followers, or "children" from the coming end and lead them to "Eden's gate." Joseph is shown to be a psychopath, having no problem killing, torturing and looting to advance his project.
As players confront Faith in Far Cry 5, they learn that she is scared of Joseph who, according to her, took her when she was 17, drugging, threatening, manipulating, and abusing her into becoming his “sister.” It's pretty clear that Seed gaslighted her, manipulated her, groomed her, and more.
Did Joseph Seed become good? Joseph is satisfied with the end of his world as he was correct though he does express a desire to kill the Deputy for murdering his family but instead chooses to make them a part of his "family" so they can reclaim and rebuild the world anew once The Collapse is over.
Pagan Min is the ruler of Kyrat, and is the stepfather to Ajay. He actually doesn't hate Ajay. He actually loves him and seeks to protect him at all costs. At the beginning of the game, he specifically said that the bus shouldn't be shot at, no matter what.
Vaas Montenegro is the secondary antagonist of the 2012 first person shooter video game Far Cry 3. He is also a minor character in Far Cry 6, and the titular protagonist of its DLC Vaas: Insanity. He is the leader of the pirates on Rook Island and the brother of the Rakyat leader Citra.
"and in that moment I knew that god was testing me and all i had to do was choose." And then goes on to say that he pinched the tubes life support for his daughter shut and her legs began to kick and kick. She died.
Is Faith a victim in Far Cry 5? According to Faith, she was a victim of circumstance; she was a victim who was only a “child” (17) who got sucked into a Manson-style cult that she could not escape from.
In the final battle when you kill her, she even explains how Joseph drugged and brainwashed her at 17, and she explained that she never wanted it.
From Far Cry 3, Vaas is the most iconic villain in all the Far Cry series, and maybe in all of gaming. He is a terrifying psychopath whose scenes perfectly punctuate the game's narrative with a level of intensity rarely found in video games. Vaas is a loose cannon and a real force to be reckoned with.
An archetypal cult leader who is worshipped by his devout religious subjects as a higher power, Joseph Seed's role as the "Father" of the Project at Eden's Gate movement was inspired by historical destructive cults like the Peoples Temple, the Manson Family, and the Branch Davidians.
Seed seems remorseful, regretful. He has lost his confidence in his faith. Whilst still full of pride, he regrets the loss of life that led him to self-preservation. The self-preservation that the voice of God had told him he needed to do.
Citra Talugmai-Montenegro is the overarching antagonist of the 2012 video game Far Cry 3, and the main antagonist of the Far Cry 6 DLC - Vaas: Insanity. She is the mentally unstable and deeply fanatical leader of the Rakyat and the older sister of Vaas Montenegro. She was voiced by Faye Kingslee.
In the case of Vaas, the hallucination saw Jason gunning down several clones of the villain before reaching the "real" version. When he does, he stabs him several times, giving the terrifying foe a brutal death.
Since he was a child, Vaas was deeply infatuated with his sister to the point of obsession. He would commit violent acts against anyone who gained her affection, such as a man who he caught with Citra in bed. Vaas could never tell his sister how he felt which led to inner turmoil that led to his decline.
Character Information
Pagan Min is a bisexual character from Far Cry.
Whereas players see Vaas alive and well in his secret ending, Pagan Min keeps the ambiguity around his death. In Far Cry 4, he either leaves Kyrat on a “vacation” or dies in a number of ways. Players thus encounter a recording Pagan Min left behind for Ajay Ghale, where he mentions either being dead or on vacation.
He is the new king of Kyrat, according to Pagan. Ajay is the first protagonist who is a native of the region. The only time he screams in the entire game is when he is on fire.
The only way to save faith if it dies is if you die on its side.
Batari is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Ull) of the 2016 survival game Far Cry Primal. She is a charismatic priestess who leads the Izila in their conquest to conquer Oros and enslave those who inhabit it.
