Ron was a teenage boy who was very overprotective of the only sister he had. Considering what happened to Ginny in her very first year at Hogwarts, i'm not surprised Ron became more protective of her afterwards.
Although Ron did show that he was not very happy about Harry and Ginny's relationship, I believe that he was kind of relieved that his sister's boyfriend was his best friend, as opposed to the other guys she dated before Harry.
Ron - From the moment he became friends with Hermione he liked her as a friend a lot. From second year though he developed a small crush on her, and was rather jealous when she seemed to have a crush on Lockhart.
Ron is the better duelist and more experienced at defense. Ginny is as competent as the average D.A. member which means she's quite a bit more competent than students who didn't receive any proper training. After all, the D.A. members learned a variety of spells, including the difficult Patronus Charm.
When Harry and Ginny kiss in the Deathly Hallows,Ron acting as a concerned brother argued with Harry about his sister. He told him that by kissing her,he could give her false hope that he will be with her and will not leave her , which is also would not happen because of their dangerous journey ahead.
The explanation is very simple - Harry has a very strong sexual desire for Ginny. He has no such feelings for Hermione. Sex is a fundamental aspect of adult relations. Sex is, in fact, the characteristic that defines the difference between a platonic relationship and a romantic one.
Harry was just a friend, so Hermione hugged him in a friendly way. Ron was the future love-interest, and Hermione (now 13 years old) suddenly found herself shy of him.
Ginny and the Bat Bogey Hex
Ginny Weasley's aptitude for the Bat Bogey Hex was impressive enough to earn her the admiration of no less a talent-spotter than Professor Slughorn.
SHE'S A PROFICIENT AND POWERFUL WITCH
J.K. Rowling has stated one of the reasons Ginny is gifted is due to the fact she was a seventh child and the first female Weasley born in generations, which ties into the superstition of the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter.
She is one year younger than both Ron and Harry. The author has said that Ginny's birthday is 11 August 1981, which actually makes her almost exactly one year younger than Harry (whose birthday is 31 July 1980) and 17 months younger than Ron (whose birthday is 1 March 1980).
The Half-Blood Prince - They Finally Get Together
After years of build-up, Harry finally starts to have feelings for Ginny in The Half Blood Prince - and one of the first moments he realizes it is when he smells Amortentia, and it smells like 'something flowery he had smelled at the Burrow'... Ginny's hair!
With only Ron and Ginny left in Hogwarts by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, none of the other Weasley siblings found out about the new pairing of Harry and Ginny.
The hugely successful author tells Wonderland magazine she chose the red-haired Ron for Hermione for very personal reasons having little to do with literature. She told the magazine she “wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfilment” and said the couple might eventually need relationship counselling.
Harry's crush on Ginny and their subsequent relationship in the last two (but particularly the sixth) book led to some of my all time favorite moments in the whole series.
However, in the Order of the Phoenix, Ginny becomes less nervous around Harry, and even starts to date other boys. This possibly causes Harry to become interested in her, and in the sixth book, Harry has a big crush on her, while Ginny was dating Dean Thomas.
Before Half-Blood Prince, Ginny had no love for Cho as she was extremely jealous of Harry's attraction for her – this because Ginny was so obsessed with Harry the whole, if you'll recall.
Those that are gifted with the power of flight are perhaps more rare than any other wizard that has any other power.
9 Ron Weasley: Stupefy / Wingardium Leviosa
When in combat, Ron's go-to, and probably favorite, spell would have to be Stupefy. This spell is meant to stun your opponent. It's quick, and during the fighting the Department of Ministries in Order of the Phoenix, Ron uses this one quite a bit.
The Killing Curse ('Avada Kedavra')
Obviously there's no coming back from this spell, and according to the Ministry of Magic's classifications (and, again, fake-Moody) this is the worst Unforgivable Curse.
Other Favorite Spells
Plus, there were some votes for Obliviate (erases memory), Silencio (silences someone or something), Homonculus Charm (reveals someone's true identity and location), and Levioso (levitation, and some fans say that this is Ron Weasley's signature spell).
Ginny's temper, along with her penchant for cruel bullying seemed to be celebrated by many of the series' characters and J.K. Rowling, herself.
She wasnt madam Pomfrey. Meaning, while she had a general knowledge of various spells, she did not have the expertise in healing specific spells to be able to heal a death wound on a house elf. Their physiology is very different from wizards.
Ron never apologized openly by saying “sorry". Since the books are Harry's pov, we don't have many apology moments in the books. Even in Gof, when Ron hurt her, it is not outright stated that he apologized. They were simply being civil to each other the next day.
Ron Weasley has always been a beloved character in the Potterverse. As Harry Potter's best friend, he is possibly the second-most relevant character in the books.
