Delta Airlines – As a Delta Airlines flight attendant, no visible tattoos are permitted. Frontier Airlines – As a Frontier flight attendant, no visible tattoos are permitted. JetBlue – As a JetBlue flight attendant, no visible tattoos are permitted.
According to United's “Flight Attendant Uniform Appearance Standards,” tattoos any bigger than the size of the work badge must never be visible while you're in uniform. If your tattoo is on an area covered by the uniform, you do not violate the flight attendant's requirements.
All employees can now wear the same jewellery, including watches and diamond earrings. Employees will also have the choice of whether to wear makeup or not, although tattoos still need to be concealed. Hosiery will be required to be worn with a dress or skirt.

Qatar Airlines' Rules
Qatar Airways does not allow Cabin Crew to have any tattoos. The State of Qatar follows a strict interpretation of Islam and tattoos are considered Haram – as such they're forbidden.
The most important thing you need to consider when you're flying with a new tattoo is how dry the air in a plane is. You've probably noticed before that your skin dries out and you feel dehydrated more easily when you fly, and that's kryptonite to a tattoo.
The ideal time to fly after having a tattoo would be seven days. This period will give the tattoo time to start to heal, and the wound will have closed. It will also give you time to see how well the tattoo is healing and know if you have any issues with it, such as allergic reaction, infection, swelling, or leaking.
TSA limits liquid containers in hand baggage to 3.4 ounces / 100 milliliters and all of them must fit inside a 1-quart clear resealable bag. If you're traveling with a high quantity of ink, you can use a tattoo ink travel case to pack ink in your checked baggage, where there aren't any restrictions.
Several carriers have relaxed their rules to allow visible tattoos so long as they are deemed “not offensive.” United and Alaska Airlines are two examples–both have a “badge rule”–your ink cannot be larger than your uniform's badge.

Travel Comfort
If you're getting a tattoo on a spot of your body that comes into close contact with seating materials or the sweaty companion in the neighboring seat, it's a good idea to schedule your tattoo at least two weeks in advance of your trip.
6. I have a tattoo, can I still apply? Ryanair allows tattooed flight attendants inside their fleet, as long as it can be hidden in their uniforms, and not visible to people.
Remember that male Cabin Crew are not allowed to wear makeup. However, other airlines – particularly Middle Eastern ones like Qatar and Emirates – will ask you to declare any scars or birthmarks, even if they are likely to be hidden by uniform.
So the straight answer is yes, you can get jobs on board superyachts if you have tattoos. Recruitment however, is obviously dependent upon the type of tattoos that you are sporting, and the individual views of the owner.
Base pay can vary greatly depending on the airline as some pay better than others, but you can expect a starting salary in the region of £12,000 to £14,000. Once you have some experience you'll be able to earn a base rate of £15,000 to £19,000 a year.
