Honey Badger – Fights Off Large Predators A honey badger (Mellivora capensis) makes the list of toughest animals because it doesn't back down when approached by a predator – even if it's a lion or a leopard! A honey badger is about three feet long and weighs between 13 and 30 pounds.
These would be alligators and crocodiles, with the Salt Water Croc topping off the list. Out in the ocean we have sharks, killer whales and the good ol giant squid. In mammals we have to consider one family with the meanest attitude of them all, namely the badger/wolverine family.
These animals have been described in the Guinness Book of Records as the "most fearless animal in the world" A pair of honey badgers take on a pride of lions. It is not for nothing that the honey badger has earned the reputation of being the most fearless animal in the world.
#1 Crocodile
This reptile's skin has been compared to a suit of armor. The bony structures on a crocodile's back, tail, and head are called scutes. Scutes are made of a solid material called keratin. If you see an animal with horns, those horns are probably made of keratin.
And the strongest known bite force of the entire animal kingdom is…. The Crocodile -- specifically, the Saltwater Crocodile (the highest recorded “live” bite of 3700 PSI) and the Nile Crocodile (estimated 4000-5000 PSI)!

Pangolins! These solitary, primarily nocturnal animals, are easily recognized by their full armor of scales.

These animals frequently place humans on the run with their extremely bad temper and tendency to attack in a ferocious flurry of razor sharp tusks. Wild Boar charges may at times be fatal due to the power and mass of the enraged animals, which may respond with force to any perceived invasion of territory.
Even the Guinness Book of Records has attributed the primacy of the world's most fearless animal to the honey badger while National Geographic defines it as the worst animal in the world.
Elephants and rhinos are the animals most likely to kill lions. The humble porcupine is a threat to mighty lions. A crocodile is an animal that will attempt to prey on lions.
