Body lice (Pediculus humanus corporis) are small blood-sucking insects that live on the body of infested humans and in their clothing or bedding, particularly the seams.
Permethrin cream.
Permethrin is a skin cream with chemicals that kill mites that cause scabies and their eggs. It's generally considered safe for adults, people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and children over 2 months old.
Moss mites, also known as oribatid mites, armored mites, moss beetles and beetle mites, are among the bugs that most closely resemble poppy seeds. They are tiny black insects with a round shape and a length of about 1-2mm (0.04-0.08 inches).
American Spider Beetles are bizarre little bugs that look like sesame seeds, but the round shape will make them one of the most recognizable Tiny Black Bugs that Look Like Poppy Seeds.
Mite bites.
Intense itching and many small, red bumps, like pimples, are seen. Burrows may also be seen. These look like thin, wavy lines.
Itching, mainly at night: Itching is the most common symptom. The itch can be so intense that it keeps a person awake at night. Rash: Many people get the scabies rash. This rash causes little bumps that often form a line.
Scabies is the most common and important condition resulting from mite infestation of humans. Unlike other mites, scabies mites actually burrow and produce tunnels one centimeter or more in length just below the surface of the skin, in which they lay eggs. The mites are believed to feed on skin and secretions.
Nigella seed comes from the seeds of the flowering plant Nigella sativa, which is found throughout Turkey, Syria, and parts of Iraq. Nigella is sometimes referred to by other names, such as black cumin, black onion seed, and black sesame seed, which can lead to some confusion, as nigella is not related to any of these.
Adult bed bugs will look like flax seeds only 3/16-inch long. Younger bedbugs are smaller and almost transparent so very difficult to see, even on white mattresses.
“Powderpost beetle” is a term used to describe several species of small (1/8-3/4 inch long) insects that reduce wood to a flour-like powder (Figure 1). The developing grub-like larvae inflict damage as they create narrow, meandering tunnels in wood as they feed.
Clover mites are very tiny as can be seen on this ruler. The mites are very tiny creatures (smaller than a pin head) and may occur in countless numbers. They usually appear first around windows, but later may overrun entire walls of a home. To most people they appear as tiny, moving, black specks.
Mold mites have a similar appearance. They can appear as shapeless stains on walls, ceiling, or furniture, usually colored brown. They can also show up as a fine white or brown dust on pantry shelves, where high protein and high-fat foods have been left out.
Steam cleaning or washing items in hot water is a sure-fire way to kill and eliminate mites of all types. Use a steam cleaner to heat treat your carpeting, furniture and bedding. Wash the bed spreads and your clothing and other such fabrics in hot water and dry clean them at a high temperature.
Mites are insect-like organisms that can only be seen with a microscope. They burrow under the skin where they live and lay their eggs. On a person, scabies mites can live for as long as 1-2 months. Off a person, scabies mites usually do not survive more than 48-72 hours.
Bed bug waste is found on bedding or mattress seams. It looks like dark brown flecks or coffee grounds.
Springtails, also known as snow fleas, thrive in wet or damp areas, where they gather in large clusters. From far away, they can look like little specks of dirt or particles of pepper in the snow.
Whirligig beetles are referred to in Kaufman and Eaton's Field Guide to Insects of North America as the “bumper cars of the beetle world.” Looking like dark watermelon seeds, mobs of whirligig beetles scoot across the still waters of ponds, lakes, streams and rivers.

Scabies is easily treated. Medicated skin creams or pills kill the mites that cause scabies and their eggs.
Scabies is an infestation of the skin by the human itch mite (Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis). The microscopic scabies mite burrows into the upper layer of the skin where it lives and lays its eggs. The most common symptoms of scabies are intense itching and a pimple-like skin rash.
Common parasitic skin diseases include creeping eruption, lice, and scabies.
