INFJ personality stands for introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging.
INFJs are empathetic but socially reserved
INFJs also stand out here, because they score highly on Feeling and Introversion. INFJs express this unusual blend through their interpersonal warmth and empathy while also being reserved and, at times, socially withdrawn.
According to Galen, the imbalance of pairs resulted in one of the four temperament categories (or personality types): sanguine (being optimistic and social), choleric (being short-tempered and irritable), melancholic (being analytical and quiet), and phlegmatic (being relaxed and peaceful).
THE HIGH D (Choleric) The Choleric temperament has three combinations: Choleric-Sanguine, Choleric-Phlegmatic, and Choleric-Melancholy. The Choleric is the least occurring of the four temperaments, and a female Choleric is extremely rare.
A positive attitude, a balanced extroversion and confidence have been revealed as the most attractive qualities, in both sexes. Psychologists say these three personality qualities not only make someone more attractive to the opposite sex but also prove they can get on with anyone.
INTP. According to Comen, both INTJs and INTPs are among the smartest, adding that thinking is actually "the primary life goal" for INTPs, as opposed to the key tool. These people are most likely to be engineers and mathematicians, Robledo says.
INFP is the type most commonly mistaken for INFJ, and they use Ne as their co-pilot process. If Signs 1 and 5 are both sound true for you there's a very good chance you're an INFP. ENFPs lead with Ne and have Fi as their co-pilot.
ENFP. If you have an ENFP as a friend, you'll know how fun and inclusive these types can be. ENFPs may be an INFJ's best match due to the similarities and complementary traits these types share.
Again, opposite to the INFJ is the INFP, who will appear less organized and less controlled than the INFJ to others. Still, since their primary function is a Judging function, Introverted Feeling, there's a lot of internal organization others don't see outside the INFP's head.
Cholerics are of the opinion and belief that they know what is best for those around them, and what is acceptable behavior according to them. They have a severe problem with anger; “the angry temperament”. Cholerics have a tendency to seldom express other emotions such as love, tenderness, warmth and compassion.
Personality tests can give us some insight into who we are, even if they are not necessarily the perfect measurement of oneself. A personality test can be especially useful if you want to find out what kind of temperament you have, for example, a melancholic temperament.
Sanguine
The most common temperament style, it can be found in men and women equally. Sanguine are usually people-oriented, outgoing, extroverted, talkative, and social. They are also the ones who do good things to others and encourage them to work in a team.
Because INFJs are so naturally aware of harmony levels and emotional needs, they are irritated by people who seem tactless, rude, mean-spirited, troll-ish, or unnecessarily disruptive. In situations where someone is corrupting the emotional atmosphere for their own selfish gains, an INFJ can become severely angered.
You need to give yourself the time to recover from social interactions so you can stop feeling the emotions of others and start reconnecting with yourself. Exercising alone is helpful, and some INFJs find great solace in nature. Other stress busters include light reading, writing in a journal or meditation.
The inferior cognitive function of INFJs (the weakest part of their personality) is Extraverted Sensing; this helps them live in the present moment and be aware of the world around them.
Although two well-developed individuals of any type can enjoy a healthy relationship, INFJ's natural partner is the ENTP, or the ENFP. INFJ's dominant function of Introverted Intuition is best matched with a personality type that is dominated by Extraverted Intuition.
INFJs and INTPs are one of the most common relationship pairings; so common, in fact, that they are often called “the golden pair”.
INFJs ranked as having low dominance according to the CPI™ tool. Since the traits linked with low-dominance were being quiet, cautious, or hesitant to take action, this makes sense. INFJs tend to be on the quiet side, and they also tend to be extremely independent.
The best matches for an INFJ are the ENFP and the ENTP personality types. Both the ENFP and the ENTP types openly give support to those around them and to those who need affirmation. The extraverted features of the ENFP and the ENTP balance the introverted nature of the INFJ and bring out the best in INFJs.
People who overthink tend to score high in the neurotic department. Neuroticism is one of the five big personality traits, along with openness, conscientiousness, extraversion and agreeableness. It's linked to anxiety, fear, moodiness, worry, envy and frustration.
INFJs have one of the highest IQ levels alongside INTP and INTJ with different knowledge measures but stem from one core aspect – intuitive intelligence. Many personalities have a sensing input function, while others have concrete information as a processing function.
Those who are extroverted, sensing, feeling, and judging are often identified as one of the kindest types by experts. "ESFJs have extroverted feeling as a dominant cognitive function," Gonzalez-Berrios says. "This makes them rule by their hearts. They are kind, polite, friendly, and sensitive."
