… use of a scheme of Four Ages (or Races): Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Iron. “Race” is the more accurate translation, but “Golden Age” has become so established in English that both terms should be mentioned.
When men reach the age of 40, they undergo a decrease in testosterone levels, which has an effect on various bodily functions, including muscle growth, metabolic rates, bone strength and sexual desire. All of this means that they have entered their “golden years”.
As the old saying goes, “life begins at 40”, but recent trends suggest that 50 could be the age we really start to enjoy life. By this age, many of us feel more confident than ever before and are in a position to start getting the most from life.
Bronze Age – Men of the Bronze Age were hardened and tough, as war was their purpose and passion. Zeus created these humans out of the ash tree. Their armor was forged of bronze, as were their homes, and tools.

Silver birthdays are when either a man or woman turns 25 years old. Silver can be used to decorate or theme the birthday celebrations of a 25-year-old. Over the years, each year's anniversary is connected to some sort of object or theme, but silver for 25 is one of the oldest traditions.
The infant, the schoolboy, the lover, the soldier, the justice, the pantaloon, and old age. Many Shakespeare fans are familiar with Jaques's famous speech in As You Like It about these seven ages of man, which begins: All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.

Using gene frequency data for 62 protein loci and 23 blood group loci, we studied the genetic relationship of the three major races of man, Caucasoid, Negroid, and Mongoloid. Genetic distance data indicate that Caucasoid and Mongoloid are somewhat closer to each other than to Negroid.

20th anniversary: platinum
Platinum symbolizes a relationship that will endure — a nice milestone for twenty years. Platinum is actually 30 times rarer than gold. It's naturally white, so it doesn't cast any color into diamonds (a reason why it has become so popular as a metal for engagement rings).
Silver is associated with the 25th anniversary because of its durability and luster, which symbolize the strength and longevity of a couple's marriage. The tradition is believed to date back to medieval Germany, where wives were presented with a silver wreath for 25 years of marriage.

In the sixth stage of life the man becomes a pantaloon or weak old man. He is so thin his stockings become loose. The speech compares this stage of life to a return to being like a baby or child. Old men and small children both have high voices and are dependent on adults.
The fourth stage is the stage of a soldier; in this age man plays the role of a soldier. He is quite temperamental at this stage. He loves honour and reputation. He keeps a beard like that of a leopard.
Then comes the third stage of life, “the lover, sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad made to his mistress's eyebrows”, as said by Shakespeare. This is the period when the child is grown up to be an adolescent.
The Ice Age did come before the Stone Age. It was during the Mesolithic period, or the Middle Stone Age, when the climate started getting warmer, thus marking the end of the Ice Age.
The three-age system is the periodization of human prehistory (with some overlap into the historical periods in a few regions) into three time-periods: the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age, although the concept may also refer to other tripartite divisions of historic time periods.
