Learning how to get in shape in as little as two weeks sounds daunting, but if you're motivated and have the time and energy to devote to it, it's certainly possible. Find an exercise routine that works for you, eat healthy, drink lots of water, and watch as the transformation begins.
You should be doing resistance training as well as cardiovascular exercise. You should be aiming to do 6 x 30-minute workouts a week, incorporating both resistance training and cardiovascular exercise. Resistance training helps the body to burn fat and to build muscle, so that you can burn more calories whilst resting.
Bottom line: “As long as the exercise you're doing is difficult enough to stress your body and force it to adapt, you can definitely see changes in a week or two,” says Van Pelt. “They may be small changes, but depending on the level you're starting at, I'd say up to a 10-percent increase is possible.”
While losing 7 pounds or more per week is possible, it is certainly not safe and healthy. If you lose weight rapidly, you will only eradicate water from your body and not your body fat. You can't safely burn 7 pounds in just a week (5). Fast weight loss also flushes out stored glycogen and lowers your insulin levels.
Losing belly fat and getting a flat stomach is done through achieving a caloric deficit by eating less, exercising more, and doing that for at least 6-12 weeks. The more stubborn your belly fat is, the more strict and consistent you need to be with your diet and exercises regimen throughout that period.
So if you lose 1lb (0.45kg) a week you could hope to reduce your waistline by an inch after four weeks. Dieticians advise that if you eat 500 calories less than your daily requirement you will lose about 1lb every seven days (expect some variation from person to person).
While it's impossible to lose all of your belly fat in 2 weeks, you can lose some of it quickly by losing weight and body fat all over. All you have to do is eat the right foods (cutting calories in the process), amp up your exercise routine, and make a few lifestyle changes for the next 2 weeks.
Planks help to strengthen the core, burn overall fat and also help to correct your posture. It improves stability and reduces the risk of injury.
Here are a few things you tend to see in common: Eating a lot more food. Taking protein shakes (here are three I recommend: Isopure, Beef Protein Isolate, Vega Chocolate Protein Powder ) Lifting weights (Here are 25 lb hex dumbbells I use, a 40lb adjustable dumbbell set, and a 16kg kettlebell to get started)
The plank strengthens your spine, your rhomboids and trapezius, and your abdominal muscles, which naturally result in a strong posture as they grow in strength. Developing your posture can improve on a number of ailments, and prevent the onset of other ones. Good posture means you're keeping your bones aligned.
Stick to losing 1-2 kilograms per week
It is considered safe, and helps improve your chances of maintaining a healthy weight in the long term. Drastically losing weight is unsafe, and may only cause your body to store more fat and lose muscle mass. One kilogram of body fat is equivalent to around 7,700 calories.
Crunches:
The most effective exercise to burn stomach fat is crunches. Crunches rank top when we talk of fat-burning exercises. You can start by lying down flat with your knees bent and your feet on the ground.
Because average weight loss is approximately 1 kilogram per week, you can expect to safely lose 10 kilograms — which, at a conversion rate of 2.2 pounds per kilogram, equals 22 pounds — in about 10 weeks.
You would need to consume only 500-1,000 calories per day, which is an extremely low amount and likely not sustainable or healthy for most people. In fact, trying to lose 5 kg in one week is generally not realistic or healthy.
Mostly, losing weight is an internal process. You will first lose hard fat that surrounds your organs like liver, kidneys and then you will start to lose soft fat like waistline and thigh fat. The fat loss from around the organs makes you leaner and stronger.
