Taking responsibility. People with emotional maturity are aware of their privilege in the world and will try to take steps toward changing their behavior. ...
Puberty is when a child's body begins to develop and change as they become an adult. Girls develop breasts and their periods begin, and boys develop a deeper voice and start to look like men. The average age for girls to begin puberty is 11, while for boys the average age is 12.
For both girls and boys, growth typically stops when puberty ends. For girls, who begin puberty earlier than boys, that is around age 15 or 16. For boys, growth can continue until around age 18.
Some causes of early puberty in girls include thyroid disorders, abnormal brain structure, exposure to radiation therapy, or ovarian cysts. Genetic conditions may result in early puberty and can be detected with testing. In 90% of cases in girls, however, there is no known cause.
Another important practice for behaving emotionally mature in a relationship is taking responsibility for your feelings. And – being aware of and in touch with what your feelings actually are. Many people skip over their feelings or try to control them.
A mature voice is clear to speak out for itself and to be heard. It's not mumbled and not too soft. People with a mature voice articulate their thoughts, ideas and opinions.
