In fact, it makes me feel even closer to you knowing that we can be real with each other and just not say anything sometimes. This is what one of my closest friends, a shy person, recently said to me. And it meant a lot to me.
Quiet people are natural learners, and they have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Their curiosity draws them to learning as much as they can. Just because they're quiet doesn't mean they're antisocial; they just prefer to expand their minds more than they like to open their mouths.
Why is Quiet Confidence so Attractive? Being quiet doesn't mean that you are shy or insecure. Quiet confident people exude an energy of self-assurance and strength, which is very attractive to other people.
People are intimidated by the silence.
People act rather wary and cautious around you. They tend to leave you alone, as if your silence has placed an uncrossable void around you. I mean, sometimes it's funny, but sometimes it's kind of irritating.
Can introverts be leaders? Leaders are often described in terms synonymous with extroversion: outgoing, gregarious, forceful, dynamic. But often, the best leaders are introverts who possess a quiet power. Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Warren Buffett, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg are just a few examples.
