In a (not-so-surprising) study conducted by Western Illinois University, women rated abs as the sexiest muscle on a man's body, ThePostGame.com reports.
Researchers suggest, "women prefer muscles that are hard to build to be larger than muscles that are easier to build." Interestingly, men's ratings of size preferences were larger than women's. In other words, men thought bigger muscles were better, while women didn't have quite the same preferences.
Muscularity is sexy.
In a separate study, women reported that their short-term sexual partners were more muscular than their other partners. The researchers suggest women have fewer requirements for muscular men.
Men cited women's faces as being their most attractive attribute by 46%. In second place, women's butts came in at 18% followed by hair at 11%. Legs, breasts, eyes, and others composed the remaining 26%.
Taking the lead is the chest at 24%, closely followed by hair at 22% and arms at 19%. These preferences suggest the importance of muscles in making a man more attractive. This is supported by the 13% preference for abs and the 9% for the v-cut.
They found that women were most attracted to muscles that are harder to develop, primarily the abs and biceps. Interestingly, the muscles women found most attractive were, in this order: glutes, biceps, abs, pecs, shoulders, obliques, triceps, and quads.
"No one will be surprised by the idea that strong men are more attractive," Aaron Lukaszewski, an evolutionary psychologist at California State University at Fullerton and an author of the study, told The Washington Post. "It's no secret that women like strong, muscular guys."

Their study, published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, suggests muscles in men are akin to elaborate tail feathers in male peacocks: They attract females looking for a virile mate. “Women are predisposed to prefer muscularity in men,” said study author David Frederick of UCLA.
A Big Chest
"Women treasure your chest as much as you do theirs," says Emily Dubberley, a sex expert based in the UK. "Touching, kissing, and licking a man's chest is undoubtedly a turn-on for most women."
Muscles are indicators of health and fitness.
They found that overall, men and women think bigger muscles are more attractive than smaller ones.
Breaking news for all dads with a little "extra" around the middle: Your body is actually the definition of "sexy" for more than half of the female population! In fact, seven out of ten women think that the "dad bod" is attractive, according to a recent Planet Fitness study.
Surprisingly, the same study also states that 45 per cent of women prefer men with a little chubbiness or simply the average male body over an extremely muscular one. Many might argue that some do like the latter and so, only 2.5 per cent of women had favoured the lean, muscular type.
But according to a UK study covered by ZME Science, women tend to find men with beards more masculine and aggressive, both potentially strong signs to search for in a mate. Other studies have shown that women tend to rate men with beards as more attractive, or potentially better as partners or at raising offspring.
Women are attracted to six packs, the same way we are attracted to breasts or butt. Because only about 15% of American men have a 6 pack. It puts you in that top 20%.
Feet are considered the least attractive part of the body
It's not a surprise a survey found it to be considered the least attractive part of the body... Footsies might be all fun and games at the dinner table, but bare toes might be a deal-breaker in the bedroom.
What women find attractive is great hygiene and appearance. A man's style and degree of personal care is a huge part of what makes a guy attractive to a woman. Some women may prefer an artsy style more than a sporty style, but the important thing is that the man has a style more than which style he chooses to wear.
When a man is honest and trustworthy, he instantly becomes more appealing and desirable to a woman. If he's dependable, truthful, genuine, and speaks from the heart, he's a guy who is worth pursuing, as people can take him at his word. "Trust and trustworthiness allow relationships to deepen," says Degges-White.
The warmest parts of the human body are the head, chest and armpits. Conversely, the coldest parts are the feet and toes, which are farthest from the warm-blood-pumping heart.
There is a lot more to women's body than just her genitals, butt and breast. You can easily turn her on by touching her other body parts. Some of those hot-spots are the nape of her neck, her mouth and lips, her collar bone and you can always add more to the list.
Male-specific factors. Women, on average, tend to be more attracted to men who have a relatively narrow waist, a V-shaped torso, and broad shoulders. Women also tend to be more attracted to men who are taller than they are, and display a high degree of facial symmetry, as well as relatively masculine facial dimorphism.
Broadness is better
Women tend to like men with broad shoulders, as this emphasises masculinity and strength, making them feel feminine by contrast.
