Asteroid 1990 MU, which is currently orbiting around the Sun, may come significantly close to the Earth by June 6, 2027.
Asteroid 2017 PDC has a greater than 95% chance of hitting earth in the year of 2027. According to an article titled “Which asteroid will hit earth next?”, asteroid 2017 PDC has a “96% chance of hitting earth in 2027” (McBurney 1).
The orbit of the massive asteroid, known as 1997 XF11, was posted today on the Internet by the International Astronomical Union. At about 1:30 p.m. Eastern time on 26 October 2028, the chunk of rock will almost certainly pass closer to Earth than the moon. But don't bet on Armageddon, observers say.

Based on new tracking measurements taken this week, the International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN) has confirmed that asteroid 2017 PDC is on a course that will almost certainly impact Earth on July 21, 2027, less than nine years from now.
New calculations show that asteroid 2000 SG344 will pass at least 4.4 million kilometers from Earth. On Friday, IAU and NASA scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena gave the 30- to 70-meter-wide asteroid a one in 500 chance of smashing into Earth on 29 September 2030.

Although the asteroid is expected to return to Earth's orbit in 2026, scientists have determined that it poses no threat to our planet during that time.
It also for a time had a small chance of hitting Earth in 2036. Additional observations have shown it will not hit Earth in 2029 or in 2036.

Asteroid onslaught
"We know today that it will also not hit the Earth in the year 2050, but the close flyby in 2050 might deflect the asteroid such that it could hit the Earth in the year 2079," Rüdiger Jehn of the European Space Agency told AFP.
The near-Earth asteroid 2011 AG5 currently has an impact probability of 1 in 625 for Feb. 5, 2040, said Donald Yeomans, head of the Near-Earth Object Observations Program at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. This impact probability isn't set in stone, however.
Bernardinelli-Bernstein, the solar system's largest comet, is on its way to Earth. According to NASA, the biggest comet in the solar system is on its way to hit Earth. The comet, known as C/2014 UN271 or Bernardinelli-Bernstein, was discovered in 2014.
On April 13, 2029, Apophis will pass less than 20,000 miles (32,000 kilometers) from our planet's surface – closer than the distance of geosynchronous satellites. During that 2029 close approach, Apophis will be visible to observers on the ground in the Eastern Hemisphere without the aid of a telescope or binoculars.
"To put it another way, that puts the current probability of no impact in 2032 at about 99.998 percent," Don Yeomans, manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object Program Office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, said Thursday in a statement. "This is a relatively new discovery.
