Once blacklisted by ChexSystems, it becomes very difficult to be approved for a traditional checking or savings account from most banks. Bad records typically stay on your ChexSystems report for 5 years. However, there are some actions you can take to repair your situation.
If you are on the blacklist, it means that you cannot get credit. You will therefore not be able to open a clothes or furniture account. A bank loan will also be impossible. You may only be blacklisted if judgment was taken against you.
You can see the actual date of your blacklist in the Blacklist Order. But if the overstaying is more than one year, you can only file the Request or Petition for lifting 12 months after your Blacklist Order or actual deportation. Your Request or Petition will be dismissed outright if you file it prematurely.
United Kingdom
Blacklisting in relation to trade union activity is illegal in the UK under the Employment Relations Act 1999 (Blacklists) Regulations 2010. Trade union members, and workers who raised health and safety and other concerns in the United Kingdom have been blacklisted by employers.
What is the easiest bank account to open in the UK? It's usually easier to open an account with one of the UK's largest banks - Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC or NatWest. These banks have been in business for a long time and are very safe.

If you're in this situation, you may be able to open a basic bank account. You can ask a bank or building society to open a basic bank account. The bank or building society must tell you whether it offers basic bank accounts. If it does, it must tell you the conditions you must meet to be able to open one.
Paying off your bank debt is an important step, as many banks will not even let you open a savings account until you have cleared up your ChexSystems report.
You can open a bank account with Monzo without requiring a full credit check, making it a good option for those with bad credit. When you apply for an account, a soft credit check will be carried out which won't affect your credit score.
Chime is a financial company that provides banking services with no credit check. Chime accounts also don't charge many fees, and you can get paid up to two days earlier with direct deposit.
Easiest-to-get basic bank accounts
The accounts which get this thumbs up are Co-op's Cashminder, Santander's Basic Current Account and the Virgin Money M Account. All three accounts allow you to set up direct debits/standing orders and give you a debit card which means you can withdraw cash from UK ATMs.
If you have an outstanding judgment, then it will be removed from your credit profile after five years, however, it will remain active for a period of thirty years. This thirty years of activity means that a credit provider, in essence, can hold you liable for your debt for a period of thirty years!
