Godzilla came back and beat Kong, which makes sense given Kong's wounds and Godzilla's nigh-invincibility, as well as his ability to absorb radiation to recharge himself. But rather than kill him like he did the MUTOs and Ghidorah, Godzilla initially left Kong to succumb to his wounds.
The Skull Devil, also known as Ramarak or The Big One, is the main antagonist of the 2017 action/adventure film Kong: Skull Island and a posthumous antagonist in the 2021 film Godzilla vs Kong. She is the tyrannical alpha and queen of the Skullcrawlers and the arch-nemesis of Kong.
What is Kong's biggest weakness? Sharp objects can also cut through his skin, as his arms and hands have several deep cuts after the first fight. Plus, he has several other scars on his body, likely from fighting the Skull Crawlers, so other monsters can do major damage to him.
Kaiju. The king of all monsters and pretty much any of his buddies would wipe the floor with King Kong. Kaiju are a whole category of giant creatures that vastly outmatch Kong based on their huge size advantage alone. And we're not just talking the modern 100+ meter tall Godzillas or massive enemies like King Ghidora.
Godzilla is the larger and more powerful kaiju who has proven his power countless times. Kong on the other hand has not in battle the closest was 59 years ago when he threw Godzilla over his shoulder back then he weighed 20,000 metric tons.
In their second and final fight in Hong Kong, Godzilla defeated Kong, despite the fact that Dr. Nathan Lind believed Kong initially won the second round.
Advanced Combatant: The Kraken is capable of holding it's own against other Titans such as Kong in combat, inflicting several grievous wounds on the Titan and even fighting him to a near stand-still. It was also able to use its tentacles to grapple opponents and use its massive chitinous forelimbs for stabbing attacks.
Mechagodzilla Has Beaten Godzilla 3 Times
Introduced in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, the mechanized kaiju beat Godzilla outright in Godzilla vs. Kong. His arsenal of missiles and lasers decimated Godzilla, who was almost sluggish in his attempts to fight off his attacker.
In it, Ann Darrow, played by Fay Wray, is terrified by the oversized monkey. Captured by the tribal natives of a remote island while making a film with the infamous Carl Denham, she has been offered up to Kong as a delectable sacrifice; instead, Kong, entranced by her beauty, takes a shine to her.
Kong also has a powerful bite. Gorillas can exert a bite force of around 91kg per square centimetre (or 1300 pounds per square inch). Kong's vastly greater size mean a bite force perhaps 100 times greater. For all this brute strength and power, Kong's greatest advantage is his intelligence.
Diddy Kong is Donkey Kong's sidekick and best friend. Rare first referred to Diddy as DK's nephew in September 1999 on their website. This was followed in November 1999 where the manual for Donkey Kong 64 called him "Donkey's little nephew wannabe".
Kong: King of Skull Island
Kong's parents were quite elderly when they were slaughtered by Gaw: a gigantic Deathrunner. When his juvenile son discovered his father's corpse, it was being eaten by a parent and child Meat-Eater, which Kong believed had killed him.
In 2017's Kong Skull Island, it's made pretty explicitly clear that Kongs parents died fighting adult skullcrawlers. Obviously, much of the plot revolves around the awakening of the “Big One” and how it would be such a threat to Kong.
King Ghidorah, and even more so in GMK: Giant Monsters All-out Attack. Even in those two movies, Ghidorah was still a formidable opponent, and the other films have sealed Ghidorah's place in history as Godzilla's greatest foe.
Most interesting is the fact that Kong's punch measures 4.2 on the Richter Scale!
Candy Kong is a female gorilla and Donkey Kong's girlfriend. Candy Kong first appeared in Donkey Kong Country providing save point stations throughout the game. Her second appearance was in Donkey Kong 64; Candy was redesigned, now wearing a bikini and some sneakers.
As for the humans in his movies, they're usually unable to stop him from running amok in Japan. But in spite of Godzilla's seemingly unbeatable nature, his record is far from flawless. He's lost fights before, and has even been outright killed. Here's every incident where Godzilla died, and exactly how it happened.
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla
In 1954, Godzilla appeared and laid waste to Tokyo before being killed by Daisuke Serizawa's Oxygen Destroyer. In the decades that followed, Japan was frequently attacked by giant monsters, including Mothra and Gaira.
Through more than 60 years of cinematic history, the Japanese pop culture icon has appeared in over 30 live-action movies at this point. However, he's only actually died in four of them. True to his title, Godzilla typically prevails in most of his fights - even when he's the main villain.
Kong: Skull Island
After a lengthy battle, Kong ends up subduing and killing both Skullcrawlers by smashing one's skull with a devastating stomp and the other by stuffing its head into the ground, breaking its neck.
Due to a substantial power-up he received from an electrical grid, Ghidorah overpowered Godzilla and almost killed him. It was only Mothra's sacrifice and the energy that transformed him into "Burning Godzilla" that allowed him to prevail in the end with his nuclear pulses.
At the end of Peter Jackson's epic 2005 monster adventure film, King Kong, the eponymous ape falls off the Empire State building to his death after losing a battle with some fighter pilots.
His atomic breath put Kong at an even greater disadvantage. Acquiring the axe helped even the odds a bit and gave him a fighting chance against Godzilla, but while it certainly helped, it ultimately wasn't enough. In the end, Godzilla unleashed his wrath and overwhelmed his ancestral rival.
