i usually pull of any streaks and leftover sollution with a clean leather cloth and use a high quality cleaning cloth for sunglasses to polish out any leftover traces/dull spots afterwards, if there are any. this is my tried and tested method that has not caused any damage to my tv or any other surface i used it on.
