The red field represents the traditional color used for the Holy Spirit. This is why red and blue are the colors of HGP. Additionally, the shield of HGP incorporates some key elements of traditional heraldry.
The saints are all red to symbolize both spiritual awakening, and the holy spirit.

According to Hindu mythology, Saffron (or Kesariya) is the color of Sunset (Sandhya) and Fire (Agni) which symbolises sacrifice, light, and quest of salvation.

Green has other properties, too, that make it a natural fit for Islam and the Middle East. It's a symbol of nature and life—especially potent in the dry desert. Mohammed invoked this connection when he wrote about a folkloric figure called al-Khidr, or “the Green One,” who symbolizes immortality.
This color is strongly related to fertility, fruitfulness, and God's love for humanity in many ways. And one can see how this color of calmness feels like a blessing amidst the chaos whenever they witness this world full of trees, flowers, birds, and many such incredible creations by our supreme creator.
Different shades of purple have different spiritual meanings. For instance, light purples are associated with light-hearted, romantic energies, while darker shades can represent sadness and frustration. In some parts of Europe, purple is associated with death and mourning.
Mary is almost always decked out in blue, while Jesus typically wears red. Throughout history, blue has been considered a sacred and valuable hue.
Black was the color of sin, evil, and death; and white was the symbol of goodness, God, and eternal life.
