After Goku defeats Frieza, Beerus sets up a tournament between his Universe 7 and his twin brother Champa's Universe 6. After Universe 7 wins, Beerus wishes for the population of Universe 6's Earth to be restored.
He granted Beerus's wish to revive the Earth in the Sixth Universe and restore its humans. After the wish, Super Shenron vanished and the Super Dragon Balls scattered between the Sixth Universe and Seventh Universe.
He wished for Earth 6 to be back on being cool, so Champa could get his food.
He could wish for selfish things or to strengthen his warriors or whatever else, but he did it so that his kid brother could be happy and enjoy the food as well. This indicates that Beerus cares about Champa the same way as an adult brother cares for his kid brother.
Beerus stating the line "say something" at the end of episode 118 was said to one person and one person only... himself. Even when he knew that his brother was being erased he couldn't bring himself to just say something nice to his brother in order to give him a send off.
5. His Sneeze is Highly Destructive. One time, when he was napping, Beerus was woken up by his sneeze, which ended up destroying the two suns of his planet. Luckily, Whis helped him by re-doing time to prevent the damage.
Beerus duels him in a battle that affects the entire universe. But even after Goku lost after his Super Saiyan God power fades, Beerus notes Goku's remaining power. Later, he decides to spare him and the Earth, pretending to fall into a deep sleep.
Jiren's wish was to resurrect his fallen mentor!
Unable to receive recognition from Gicchin as his successor before he passed away, Jiren wanted to resurrect him to show him the incredible power he had gained.
Beerus was definitely affected by his brother's erasure. Shortly before being erased Champa called Beerus, as if to tell him something. He then saw the spirits of the rest of their team and changed his mind, making a gesture instead. Beerus wished Champa had lasts words for him, he was sad that he did not.
Why did Beerus look so shocked to see Jiren's energy at first when he was heavily supressed? Simply because Mortals simply don't have energy that powerful. Completely out of the normal, Beerus may have never seen a Mortal with that much power.
Monaka is the last to fight because Beerus says he's the strongest. He then watches the first match between Goku and Botamo. During the fights, it is revealed that he has been sitting on the bench with his eyes open, while his mind has actually been unconscious since Goku's first Kamehameha in the first match.
The more energy he exhausts the earlier he needs to go to sleep/hibernate. Weakness: Beerus is incredibly lazy. If Shin (Supreme Kai of 7th universe) is killed, Beerus will also die as well.
Monaka was initially described as being a hero of his home world planet, Wagashi. At some point in his past, he was said to have fought against the God of Destruction Beerus. He managed to cause Beerus trouble, which makes him later claim Monaka as the strongest fighter he's ever faced.
As we mentioned above, Beerus is known for his century-long naps. Before Dragon Ball Super, he was asleep for the entirety of Goku's life. After authorizing the destruction of Planet Vegeta, he went back to sleep for nearly four decades straight.
Beerus apologizes to Bulma for interrupting her birthday party. Before leaving, Beerus promises to battle Gokū again next time. He and Whis leave Earth and travel home. Whis defeats Beerus with a single chop.
Well, according to the movie, Beerus used 70% of his power. But this was when Toriyama had no idea what to do for Super, so that reading is obsolete. The more up to date reading is less than 10% power, according to the anime.
Whether or not he cares about Goku personally, he was supposed to become his greatest rival, so he would be at least somewhat unnerved by his death.
As the main character, Goku eventually surpassing Beerus is all but guaranteed. After all, Goku's journey is one of encountering and overcoming obstacles. It was demonstrated with Demon King Piccolo, then Frieza, then Kid Buu. Beerus is yet another obstacle for Goku to overcome.
Vegeta as a child saw his father the almighty King of Saiyans King Vegeta's head used as a foothold by Beerus. Although he grew old and became of the strongest biengs in the universe he still remembers the trauma and the fear he had when he saw his dad the king handled such a way by Beerus.
When Frieza was first introduced in Dragon Ball lore, he was attempting to steal the Dragon Balls of Planet Namek to make himself immortal so that he could rule the universe for all eternity. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, however, Frieza wants to use the near limitless magic of the Dragon Balls to make himself taller.
Realizing that Monaka's strength had been severely overstated, Hit deliberately let him win by pretending that Monaka's punch was powerful enough to knock him out of the ring. Hit chose to lose so that Universe 7 would win the tournament, viewing the act as a way to repay Goku for letting him win earlier.
Beerus at Full Power (Hakai Ki 100%)
We have yet to see Beerus fight in his full power. Beerus did not hold back during the Exhibition Match against all the gods but him using Ultra Instinct means he didn't tap into his Hakai Ki.
Cheelai, who was obviously terrified of having gotten caught, looked at him worriedly, which caused Beerus to be completely enchanted by her alluring eyes.
Given his role in the series, one would think that Shenron would be one of the most powerful beings in the universe. That's far from true, however, and he actually has some rather potent fears. One figure Shenron is visibly afraid of is Dragon Ball Super's Lord Beerus, who had an unexpected effect on him.
