Before the Company of the Ring left
Galadriel then presents the Fellowship with additional gifts. To Aragorn she gives a sheath for his sword, Andúril, and a green gem in a silver brooch. Boromir, Merry, and Pippin each receive belts of silver or gold, while Legolas receives a longer, stouter bow.
Legolas's Family Tree
Yet, since Tolkien does give family trees for other important Elves in the book, such as Galadriel and Elrond, it's clear that Galadriel is not Legolas's mother. (Besides, she is one of the Noldor, not a Silvan or Sindar Elf.)
Legolas receives a bow and arrows from Galadriel. This gift is the same in the Lord of the Rings books and movies. Gimli initially is unsure about a gift. In the end, he asks for a strand of Galadriel's hair.

the Evenstar, a jewel which Arwen gives to her love Aragorn; invented for The Lord of the Rings film series directed by Peter Jackson.
So when she allows this incredible rarity to Gimli, she essentially gives him the three hairs that Feanor demanded of her, because she has looked into his soul and found that he has a good heart and that he desires them for nothing more than to treasure the beautiful days he spent in her lands.
It is later mentioned that Tauriel is a talented warrior and was therefore made leader of the Mirkwood border guards. Legolas, the son of Mirkwood's Elven king Thranduil, is indicated to be attracted to her, but as she is a lowly Silvan Elf, she does not believe herself worthy of him.
Breaking: Legolas Had a Huge Crush on Galadriel.
His prowess with a bow was unmatched among the Fellowship and, as J.R.R. Tolkien stated himself, Legolas was “endowed with the tremendous vitality of Elvish bodies,” as well as an inability to feel terrible hurts, which made it easy for him to travel long distances over rough terrain in only light shoes.
He Only Speaks To Frodo Once
Given all of that, you would think that Legolas would have more than a passing acquaintance with the Hobbit. In fact, the two of them only spoke once in the entirety of Peter Jackson's trilogy.
Legolas, as a wise Elf Prince, probably realized Aragorn was a true leader, worthy of being followed and listened.
Legolas was the son of Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm of Northern Mirkwood, who appeared as "the Elvenking" in The Hobbit. Thranduil, one of the Sindar or "Grey Elves", ruled over the Silvan Elves or "Wood-elves" of Mirkwood.
The Gift of an Arwen Evenstar Necklace
Princess Arwen Evenstar gave her beautiful necklace to Aragon to pledge her eternal love to him. This special gift from an immortal elf to a mortal man symbolized Arwen's decision to forsake her immortality to be with the person she truly loves.
At this point Arwen has already given up her immortality, but now she grants the grace of the Eldar to Frodo, not giving him immortality since he is not one of the elves, but instead granting him a home in the undying lands when he does pass.
Arwen reciprocated Aragorn's love, and on the mound of Cerin Amroth they committed themselves to marrying each other. In making that choice, Arwen gave up the Elvish immortality available to her as a daughter of Elrond, and agreed to remain in Middle-earth instead of travelling to the Undying Lands.
The actor is suffering from Legolas Syndrome — where you accidentally get cast into a role that suits you far more than your real-life looks, leaving you with a tricky predicament after the wrap party.
Although very little is known about the identity of Legolas' mother, she is referenced a few times in The Hobbit films, and a big part of the source of contention between Taurial and Thranduil is that she thinks him cold and unfeeling, and he thinks her naive and foolhardy.
He Abandoned Romance For Friendship
Loving Tauriel was a particularly harrowing event for Legolas. So much so, in fact, that he never shows any interest in romance ever again.
After the downfall of Sauron, Gimli travels with many of his kinsfolk to the Glittering Caves of Aglarond. He becomes the Lord of the Glittering Caves, and prospers there for many years, doing great works for the Kings of Gondor and Rohan. He never takes a wife and has no children.
LEGOLAS AND GIMLI
The relationship between Legolas and Gimli is an extremely important one in the series. These two are able to become friends despite the hatred between the elves and the dwarves. They are so close that Gimli actually goes with Legolas the Undying Lands and is the first dwarf to do so.
Thus, Galadriel's dark form in Jackson's The Lord of the Rings personified what would have occurred had the Lady of Lothlorien given in to temptation and taken the One Ring for herself. She would have succumbed to evil because the Ring was indomitable, even with her power.
Aragorn is not half Elf, although he is a descendant of Elros, who is half Elf (and the brother of Elrond, the half-Elf who raised him), which explains why Aragorn's life span is unusually long.
Celeborn was the Lord of Lothlórien and husband of Galadriel, Lady of the Golden Wood. He was said to be one of the wisest Elves in Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age.
