Aussie Slang Words For Women: Chick. Woman. Lady. Bird.
This week we shine a spotlight on a quintessential piece of Aussie slang, a word famous the world over: sheila. A sheila is a woman. In use since the 1830s, sheila has its origin in a generic use of the common Irish girl's name.

Meaning: A girl or woman.
It was initially used in Australia to refer to a woman of Irish origin, but from the late 19th century onwards it became a general term for a woman or girl. It probably derives from the generic use of the (originally Irish) proper name Sheila.
Bogan. (Noun) An uncouth or uncultured person, usually. See also: feral, ratbag, reptile, bevan etc. “I can't understand that bogan's broad Australian accent.”
Bogan (/ˈboʊɡən/ BOHG-ən) is Australian and New Zealand slang for a person whose speech, clothing, attitude and behaviour are considered unrefined or unsophisticated. Depending on the context, the term can be pejorative or self-deprecating.
Bogan is the most significant word to be created in Australian English in the past 40 years. It is defined as "an uncultured and unsophisticated person; a boorish and uncouth person" in the 2016 edition of the Australian National Dictionary.
Stunner. To start off with a really good all-rounder, “stunner” is a common one that you can use. Most commonly, stunner is used to describe a person—often not to their face. So, someone who is particularly attractive would be a stunner: “I met this total stunner the other night,” for example.

hottie (plural hotties) (slang, Australia, New Zealand, now rare) Synonym of hotshot. (slang, originally Australia) A physically or sexually attractive person.
gin Offensive term for an Aboriginal woman. It is derived from the Dharuk word diyin, meaning woman, or wife, but it has come to be used as a highly derogatory term, often in connection with sexual exploitation of Aboriginal women by whites. Now when I get back here I'll get some blacks, must have a gin at least.
Certainly if you're in the US, your mother is your “mom” – short for “mommy” and in the UK, Australia and New Zealand it's “mum” – shortened from “mummy”.
In an interview on Triple J radio, Koby Abberton pointed out that "Bra" is a reference to the gang's suburb, Maroubra, and partly after the street slang for brother. Some members of the gang tattoo "My Brother's Keeper" across the front of their chest, "Bra Boys" and Maroubra's postcode "2035" on their backs.

To carry a swag; to travel the road. A matilda is a swag, the roll or bundle of possessions carried by an itinerant worker or swagman.
Tidda: Used widely across Aboriginal Australia, “tidda” means “sister”. The term is also used for female friends.
While some Australian speakers would pronounce “no” as a diphthong, starting on “oh” as in dog and ending on “oo” as in put, others begin with an unstressed “a” (the sound at the end of the word “sofa”), then move to the “oh” and then “oo”.

The dictionary described bogan as being an Australian and New Zealand informal word, meaning: "A boringly conventional or old-fashioned person," or "an uncouth or uncultured person".
A flanny (or flannelette) shirt is often a clothing item of choice for an Australian bogan, and you'll probably be able to find one at your local charity store or perhaps you already have one lying around at home.
Is the term Bogan Offensive? The term bogan is not an offensive term to the same level as calling someone the C-word or using a racist insult towards them. However, it can often be used as a pejorative or derogatory phrase to infer that someone lacks class or taste.
