Whenever you say Allah, it should be followed with subhanahu wa ta-ala. This is an example of Islamic honorific.
The Arabic phrase ʿalayhi s-salām (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ), which translates as "peace be upon him" is a conventionally complimentary phrase or durood attached to the names of the prophets in Islam.
Subhanahu wa ta'ala, Arabic for "The most glorified, the most high", Muslim honorific for God.
Tabārakta yā Zal-jalāli wal- ikrām. O Allah, You are As-Salam (Peace), From You is all peace, blessed are You O Possessor of majesty and honour. Thawban, one of the companions r.a, reported that the Prophet s.a.w. would recite the istighfar (seeking forgiveness) three times before reciting this Dua after every prayer.
Dua means invocation - to call out - and is an act of supplication, meaning asking or begging for something earnestly or humbly. For Muslims, it is an act of worship in which we ask Allah for His forgiveness and mercy, to grant us His favours and answer our requests.
صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ • (ṣallā llāhu ʿalayhī wa-sallama) (Islam) blessings of God be upon him and grant him peace.
مع السلامة Ma'a salama
It's the most common way of saying goodbye in Arabic. The phrase ma'a salama is recognized in most Arab-speaking countries.
Praise Allah by saying “Alhamdulillah” every time you eat or drink something, and whenever something good comes your way. Remember Allah frequently, call upon Him without any intermediary, and praise Him for His beneficence and generosity.
There are three components of gratitude: (1) Thanking Allah by humbling our hearts to Him. (2) Thanking Allah by acknowledging His favours and praising Him with our tongues. (3) Thanking Allah by using all of our body parts to obey Him.
The literal meaning of Mashallah is "God has willed it", in the sense of "what God has willed has happened"; it is used to say something good has happened, used in the past tense. Inshallah, literally "if God has willed", is used similarly but to refer to a future event.
For Muslims, the term — which translates to “If God wills” — is auspicious: If you want something to happen, you should say inshallah before you say anything else about it.
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Beneficent. Praise be to the Lord of all worlds. Prayers and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his family and all of his companions.
In Gulf countries, the most common way to respond to 'thank you' in Arabic is to say: يا هلا (Ya Halah), which is equal to “you're welcome”. It is actually the same expression you can use to -literally- welcome someone.
Sabr صَبْرٌ & Shukr شكر are Arabic words that mean patience & gratitude, two halves of faith, and the perfect philosophy for life, irrespective of our faith.
JazakAllah (Arabic: جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ, jazāka -llāh) or Jazāk Allāhu Khayran (جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرًا, jazāka -llāhu khayran) is a term used as an Islamic expression of gratitude meaning "May Allah reward you [with] goodness." The phrase JazakAllah itself is incomplete.
Allah (/ˈæl.lə, ˈɑːl.lə, əˈl.lɑː/; Arabic: الله, romanized: Allāh, IPA: [ʔaɫ.ɫaːh] ( listen)) is the common Arabic word for God.
