The first 6H refers to the Pitch Diameter tolerance. The second 6H refers to the minor diameter tolerance. Because screw thread plug gages do not look at the part minor diameter, the use of the minor diameter tolerance is irrelevant when considering the gage design parameters.
6 H is therefore the designation for the tolerance of the taps, with which an average fit between screw and nut is produced. The number stands for the degree of tolerance and the letter for the position of the tolerance field.
"H" designates the pitch diameter is on high side of basic. These two letters (GH) are followed by a numeral indicating the Tolerance of Pitch diameter oversize.
For example: M12 x 1 - 6H/5g6g indicates a tolerance class of 6H for the nut (female) thread and a 5g tolerance class for the pitch diameter with a 6g tolerance class for the major diameter. A tolerance class is made up of two parts, a tolerance grade and a tolerance position.
abbreviation. (UK) A grade of pencil with lead that makes lighter marks than a pencil grade 5H; a pencil with extremely hard lead.
m8 means metric thread 8mm of ISO standard and 6H refers to tolerance of threaded hole (know more about it in ISO 2768) 2 0.
Hydrogen-7 (7H), an isotope of hydrogen.
The M10 x 1.5mm [6H] Metric Coarse Pitch - Go/No-Go Plug Thread Gauge (Insize 4130) has the following features: ISO 1502 Manufacturing Standard. 1.5mm Pitch.
Choose thread based on the type of fiber, look, feel, and thickness and not by the printed weight size. Trust your eyes and fingers more than the label. You'll get better results and be much happier with your selection. Choose fine threads to blend and medium and heavier threads to show.
H (high) represents a pitch diameter that is larger than the basic pitch diameter, and L (low) represents a pitch diameter that is smaller. The number after the H or L, indicates the amount it is different than the basic pitch diameter.
This is simply a count of the number of threads per inch measured along the length of a fastener. TPI is used only with American fasteners. Metric Fasteners use a thread Pitch (see below). In general smaller fasteners have finer threads, so the thread count is higher.
With metric threads, the larger tolerance grade number indicates a broader tolerance range. For example; 4H is approximately equivalent to Class 3B (precision quality), and 5H is approximately equivalent to Class 2B (commercial quality).
Pipe / G Threads are used for general purpose pipe fittings where pressure tight joints are not required on Threads.
UNF threads have better torque-locking and load-carrying ability than UNC threads because of their larger minor diameter. Because of their more specific fit, they have tighter tolerances, finer tension adjustment, and can carry heavier loads.
Place the measuring pin in the main tread groove, and press down until the base of the gauge is resting firmly on the tread blocks on either side of the groove. Carefully pull the tread depth gauge away from the tire, and read the measurement shown on the scale.

The No. 6 (3.5mm) x 5/8 inch (16mm) Pozi Self Tapping Countersunk Screws (DIN 7982C Z) - Stainless Steel (A2) has the following features: 2.1mm Head Length (H)
6/0 would then be twice as thin, and 8/0 even thinner still. Once you think if it in this manner, it is pretty simple. But, there is no industry standard as to what that baseline zero should be for thickness, so every manufacturer has can have variations in what thread is rated.
You can also calculate thread pitch by measuring the entire length of the thread of a screw and counting the total number of threads. You can then divide the thread length by total number of threads to calculate the thread pitch.
8H stands for eight values on how we understand our business and our commitment to our clients. Helvetic, Human, Heart, Holistic, Honesty, Healthy, Helpful and Happy. No. 8 is a lucky, unique and super/overnatural number in many cultures and religions. In what ever we do, we always need luck.
In commerce and industry, 24/7 or 24-7 service (usually pronounced "twenty-four seven") is service that is available at any time and usually, every day. An alternate orthography for the numerical part includes 24×7 (usually pronounced "twenty-four by seven"). The numerals stand for "24 hours a day, 7 days a week".
