Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "If anyone of you can get one Rak'a of the 'Asr prayer before sunset, he should complete his prayer. If any of you can get one Rak'a of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, he should complete his prayer."
The most important benefit of Asr's prayer is to create a human mind that is only real Lord the only Merciful, the Rescuer and the Bestower for all of us is the Allah Almighty. In the Noble Quran Allah (SWT) says: “And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh.
“A simple translation for the word asr is time. However, asr has a much deeper meaning than another Arabic word meaning time, dahr. Dahr means time with no limits placed upon it. Asr on the other hand means time that is limited; time that will come to an end.

The 'Asr (Late-Afternoon) Prayer has no routine Sunnah (basic recommended voluntary prayer). However, it is mustahab (preferable and recommended) that one prays 4 Rak'at before the 'Asr Prayer.

The Fajr prayer is mentioned by name in the Quran at sura 24 (An-Nur) ayah. Inspired by the tafsir of the two hadiths that were transmitted on behalf of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, the worth of the Fajr daily prayer is explained as being God's most-favoured prayer since others are asleep.
But in the light of the sound and authentic narrations and sayings is that it is the Asr (afternoon) prayer. The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Salat-ul-Wusta (the middle prayer) is the Asr prayer.” (Muslim 631). Therefore, the importance of Asr prayer is greater than other daily prayers.
Forbidden prayer times are: 1- From dawn until the sun has risen to the height of a spear; 2- When it is directly overhead at noon until it has passed its zenith; and 3- From 'Asr prayer until the sun has set completely.
This surah advises those who believe to act collectively to strengthen their position in the Hereafter. It implies asking and inviting people to do righteous deeds and stopping them from falling into sin and disbelief. The revelation of this surah occurred during difficult times.
(4:7) Just as there is a share for men in what their parents and kinsfolk leave behind, so there is a share for women in what their parents and kinsfolk leave behind - be it little or much12 - a share ordained (by Allah).
He gave an oath to Allah (swt), “Yaa Rabbee, I will perfect them, I will not leave my Ummah without perfection.” It means he took the task of perfection on himself, and on the Day of Judgement he will carry the burden of presenting the Ummah clean on his shoulders.
The literal meaning of Mashallah is "God has willed it", in the sense of "what God has willed has happened"; it is used to say something good has happened, used in the past tense. Inshallah, literally "if God has willed", is used similarly but to refer to a future event.
The shortest fard (obligatory) Muslim prayer is that of fajr, performed immediately before sunrise (2 raka'ahs) and the shortest ever possible number of raka'ahs is in the Witr prayer, which is considered Sunnah in the Maaliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali Madhabs (Schools of Fiqh) and Wajib (Compulsory) in the Hanafi madhab, ...

Asr is also a blessed time because of the change of shifts of the angels of the day and the angels of the night during this time. It is also a special time for long dhikr, and the Prophet (SAW) taught us many special dhikrs for this purpose.
While the five daily salah are wajib/fard (obligatory), Sunnah prayer (and other sunnah deeds) are Mustahabb (encouraged) – those who perform them will earn a reward in the afterlife, but there will be no punishment for neglecting them.

Surah Fajr is the 89th surah of the Quran in juz' 30. It begins by God swearing by five things: the dawn, the ten nights, the even and odd, and the night when it departs. It reminds us of the fate of wrongdoers whom, despite being very powerful physically and technologically, God punished for their disbelief.
Surah al-Asr highlights the importance of time in a very powerful way. Allah is teaching us, through the lens of time, that we will fail unless we focus on four virtues that will allow us to win in this life and the hereafter. But if we observe them the trajectory of our life will change for the better.
