F2 Labradoodle x Poodle (parent generation)=F2b Labradoodle. F3-Generation/Multi-generation.
If you run across the term “F3,” it can actually mean two different types of combinations. Put simply it means you are now 3 generations removed from the original cross of Golden Retriever to Poodle, so this can look like an F2 Goldendoodle bred to another Goldendoodle.
F3 Generation
50% Purebred-A. 50% Purebred-B. Offsets coming from the mating of two F2 hybrid parents. Example: a Labradoodle whose mother is a Labradoodle F2 and father a Labradoodle F2.
The “F” stands for “filial” and is a dog breed's generation. The first number of the “F” stands for the generation, while the second number refers to how many generations back it is from its original purebred ancestor.
F1 doodles are slightly hypoallergenic, but may still shed and cause allergic reactions. F2 goldendoodles are the biggest wild cards in terms of their coats and hypoallergenic properties, especially compared to the more genetically controlled F1 and F1B goldendoodle hybrids.
F2 x Golden Retriever or Poodle, as long as the two back-crossed dogs were the same breed. F4- Multigen, any cross of the two breeds that is not included in any of the above generations.
When an (F1) Goldendoodle + (F1) Goldendoodle are bred you get an F2 Goldendoodle which simply means that two existing 50/50 hybrids were bred. When two F2 Goldendoodles are bred, you get an F3 Goldendoodle which simply means that the F3's parents and grandparents were both Goldendoodles.

On the other hand, Australian Labradoodles are all fifth-generation (F5 or higher). Because Australian Labradoodles are fifth-generation and higher, they are incredibly dependable in terms of breed consistency.
“V” Excellent is a rating category that must be used only for the “total package” excellent training, performance and importantly excellent dog if we are to maintain the “breed” quality.
F3b is an F3 Labradoodle x Poodle.
The puppies within a litter are more uniform in appearance and coats. Multigenerational Labradoodle (Multigen) is a Labradoodle (F1, F1b, F2, F2b, etc) x Labradoodle (F1, F1b, F2, F2b, etc). This covers the F2, F3, F4 and higher generations.
The first generation designer dog (known as an F1), is the direct result of mating two purebred dogs of different breeds. The second generation (F2) results from the mating of two F1 dogs. An F3 pup is the result of a mating two F2 hybrids.
Having two dogs can be more than twice as much work as having one, and having three can require way more than three times as much effort. That pattern continues as the number of dogs increases.
If you're anything like us, you'll probably continue referring to your dog as a puppy until they're old and grey! But generally speaking, a puppy is officially considered an adult dog between the ages of 1 - 2 years, once their bones have fully developed and they've reached their final height and size.
The 'Rule of Three' means that you can gauge the time it might take for your dog to fully acclimate to his home in threes: three days, three weeks, and three months. Think of your new dog's first 3 days as their time to decompress as they transition from a shelter or foster home into your home.
Clinical Signs
Dogs initially present with signs of a T3-L3 myelopathy manifesting as upper motor neuron paresis (weakness) and proprioceptive ataxia (loss of coordination) affecting the pelvic limbs.

Dogs with S/S genotype have two copies of this piebald variant and are expected to display some amount of white patterning. White patterning may be extensive in some breeds, with some individuals being nearly completely white. They will transmit this piebald variant to all of their offspring.
Registration and permits
If you want to keep more than two dogs, you will need to apply for a permit. To find out more about applying for a permit, refer to permit to keep dogs or contact Council. The keeping of more than four dogs over the age of three months is prohibited, unless the keeper is a breeder.
The Duramune C3 vaccine is a core vaccine that protects against Parvovirus, Canine Distemper and Canine Infectious Hepatitis (viral liver disease). Adult dogs require a booster every 3-years.

F1b – First Generation Backcross
Backcrossing is breeding a hybrid back to one of the breeds it originates from. The “b” in F1b Goldendoodle simply means bred back to a purebred parent. It can be from a purebred Poodle or a purebred Golden retriever.
So, an F2 means that 2 first generation Doodles were bred together. F2 could also technically refer to a litter produced from a F1 dog bred to a F1b dog (although many refer to this as F2b to denote a higher percentage of poodle in the mix).
The F2B Visa is a Family Preference Visa which offers a Green Card to unmarried adult children of Green Card holders in the United States. Those who are successful in their application will be permitted to live in the United States for up to five years.
