Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said “Eat olive oil and massage it over your bodies since it is a holy (Mubarak) tree”. He also stated that olive oil cures 70 diseases.
It was narrated from 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Season (your food) with olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.”
As we have seen, olives and olive oil are mentioned several times in the Qur'an - but the olive trees of Al-Aqsa have a particularly high status. These olive trees are so blessed that Allah actually swears by them in the Qur'an!
There is another reference in the Qur'an to the olive tree in associ- ation with the Mount. The verse there reads as follows: "And a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which bears oil and seasoning for all to eat." [1] The olive tree is mentioned here for the only time in the Qur'an.

From all these Hadiths we conclude that the Prophet took care of his hair, combing it frequently and applying lotion and perfume as was available to him.
