To use the Busy Call Return feature: Call the number. Hang up when you hear the busy signal. Pick up the phone, dial *66, then hang up. The system will monitor the line for the next 30 minutes.
*67 - Caller ID Block: Hides your phone number on Caller ID systems. *69 - Call Return: Redials the last number that called you. *70 - Call Waiting: Places your call on hold so you can answer another. *72 - Call Forwarding: Forward your call to another phone number.

Call return (*69) automatically dials your last incoming call, whether the call was answered, unanswered or busy. To activate: Dial *69 and listen for a recording of the last number that was called. To call that number, dial 1. If the number is rings busy, hang up.
Dial *87# Caller ID. Display your Caller ID information when you make an outgoing call. Caller ID is turned on by default with Phone service.
Anonymous Call Rejection (*77) stops calls from people that use a blocking feature to keep their name or number from being displayed. When Anonymous Call Rejection is turned on, callers will hear a message telling them to hang up, turn off the blocking feature, and call again.

This Vertical Service Code, *82, enables calling line identification regardless of subscriber preference, dialed to unblock withheld numbers (private callers) in the U.S. on a per-call basis.
Dialing *68 will disable the Caller ID for the next outbound / external call only. Selecting a line and dialing this feature code will result in a prompt on the phone display as well as an audible message: "Caller ID is BLOCKED for the next outbound call only."
To block your number from being displayed temporarily for a specific call: Enter *67. Enter the number you wish to call (including area code). Tap Call. The words "Private," "Anonymous," or some other indicator will appear on the recipient's phone instead of your mobile number.
Australia: *10# for Telstra services or *69 on Optus HFC Telephony network. This only allows one to return the last unanswered call, and can cost 35 cents per use.
Lastly, with the *#002# settings interrogation short code, you can see all forms of call forwarding on your line. If everything says "Disabled," you have nothing to worry about. If there are numbers listed, they could be put there by someone else, or they could be the number for your voicemail box.

Activates the Do Not Disturb feature. When active, the user's phone does not ring and all calls go directly to a "busy treatment" such as Voice Messaging. Lift the telephone handset, press the speaker button, or the headset button. Dial the code *78, then #.
Activate Call Trace
Hang up the phone after receiving a harassing call. Pick up the phone and press *57 (touch tone) or 1157 (rotary). You'll hear a confirmation tone and message will be heard If the trace is successful.
To deactivate, dial *87. Block your name and number from appearing on caller ID. Outgoing calls will be displayed as Private, Anonymous or Unavailable.

Press *80 to turn call blocking off.
The next time you receive a call from a number you wish to block, end the call and dial *97. The number will automatically be added to your Selective Call Rejection list. You can block up to 100 numbers.
When you dial *#21#, you are, in fact, activating a feature access code that quickly tells you the status of call forwarding for your phone. It's a quick way of seeing what, in the case of this particular 'setting interrogation code,' your call forwarding settings. That's it, nothing more or less.
To cancel call forwarding: Pick up your handset, wait for the tone, and dial *73. You will hear two beeps, confirming that call forwarding is disabled.
*89 to cancel a Call Return request. Busy Call Return. *66 to monitor a busy line and inform you when it's free. *02 to permanently turn the Busy Call Return service on or off. *86 to cancel a Busy Call Return request.

The basics of Verizon's Call Forwarding service (also known as Immediate Call Forwarding) are straightforward: From your mobile phone, dial *72 plus the phone number you want to forward calls to.
If you have multiple devices connected to your extension you may find yourself wishing you had answered the call on a different device.
To disable Call Forwarding, dial *73.
You will hear a confirmation beep. Call Forwarding is now disabled, and you will receive all incoming calls on this handset.
