Now obviously, Mary gave birth to Christ, but this woman symbolically stands here as the entire Old Testament people of God from whom Christ came, and the entire New Testament people of God who follow after Christ today. Revelation 12 consists of three different sections: verses 1-6, verses 7-12, and verses 13- 17.

In the book of Revelation, God the Mother appears as the Heavenly Jerusalem and the Bride of the Lamb. Here, the Bible also explains that She is giving people the water of life in the last days. Throughout the Old and New testaments, the Bible teaches us that only God can grant water of life to His people.
The Church as the Bride in Revelation 21:9-11:
Here the Church is called “the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” As the corporate Church we are the Bride of Jesus, Who is the Groom.
While the most commonly accepted interpretation of the bride of Christ is the Church, there are other, uncommon interpretations.
The wheat and the tares grow together until the end. Immediately following the judgment of all that is against God, we are told the bride has made herself ready. This means that the book of Revelation is not only about the Lamb's victory, but it is about His great passion being fulfilled, the readiness of the bride.
