Prince Harry and Prince William call the Queen "Granny" and Prince George calls her "Gan Gan". Even Meghan Markle has a nickname for the monarch, calling her Mama.
The cute-as-a button nickname proved so popular that according to American biographer Kitty Kelley 'gan'gan' was adopted by Prince Charles, William, and Harry to address their respective great-grandmothers. It is thought the Duchess of Cambridge refers to the Queen as 'Mama'.
We'll start off with the loving moniker bestowed on her by her husband, Prince Philip—who was known around BP as P.P. As it turns out, he called Her Majesty “Cabbage.” We first learned this fun fact during the 2006 film The Queen, before it was later confirmed by those close to the fam.

As NBC royal commentator Daisy McAndrew puts it, a “queen consort is a woman who married a man who is king,” and a “queen is a woman who is born to be queen and is head of state — not the wife of a monarch.”
