For a healthy life - 1
Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika minal-kufri, walfaqri, wa 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta. O Allah, make me healthy in my body. O Allah, preserve for me my hearing. O Allah, preserve for me my sight.
Surah Duha, Surah 93, ma sha Allah. Allah subhana wa ta'ala revealed it at a time when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was depressed, to soothe him. For the man who suffered the most in this world, it was something very soothing.
Surah Al-Inshirah
The 94th chapter of the Quran contains themes of hope and comfort. It was revealed around the same time as Surah Duha. Surah Inshirah urges not to give up under hardships and stress.
Our study highlights the efficacy of Surah Al-Rehman as a remedy to reduce depression. The Holy Quran intones, "This sacred book is 'shifa' for its followers." Hence, we recommend that researchers should focus on finding remedies for other psychological and physical diseases from Quranic verses.
Quran says: What comes to you from pain and suffering is all due to your wrong behaviors, and God forgives many mistakes (verse 30 of surah al-Shouri). Indeed, the sufferings and crises, only for the oppressor, are the means of politeness but for believers are a test, degree and dignity [24].
The disease of not feeling any pain is also one of the best examples of this perfect creation; if Almighty Allah had not created such a disease, no one would know that pain is actually a great blessing for the protection of the body.
Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to your will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen.
Surah Al-Inshirah is also a beneficial Surah to recite when Anxious. Surah Rahman also has a calming effect.
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “No person suffers any anxiety or grief and says this supplication, but Allah will take away his sorrow and grief, and give him in their stead joy. Having said that, however, Muslims are not immune to the feeling of grief or depression.
Finding a sense of belonging, establishing healthy relationships within a family and community are considered essential parts of managing grief, sadness, isolation and depression. In Islam, Muslims are taught to seek consultation, or counsel, by others before making decisions.
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah at the time of distress, saying, "La ilaha illal- lahu Al-`Azim, al- Halim, La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa Rabbu- l-arsh il-azim."
