"A gracious woman gains honor; violent men gain only wealth." The Good News: Any woman who is compassionate in her life will be rewarded in heaven, while those who act in anger will be punished.
This virtuous woman is commended for being a precious wife, a hard worker, a homemaker, a business-woman, a woman who cares for the poor, for having children that bless her, and for having a teaching ministry of kindness and wisdom.
1. Be a helper to your husband. While all of us are called to be helpers to others, the Bible places a special emphasis on this responsibility for wives. Genesis tells us that God realized it wasn't good for man to be alone, and that He decided to make a “helper fit” (Genesis 2:18).
A strong woman walks surefooted, but a woman of strength knows God will keep her from falling. A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face, but a woman of strength wears grace.
Biblical Femininity is Priceless and Rare
In Proverbs 31 we see character and integrity. A woman of honor, integrity, and virtue is priceless and rare. If you're a single man, you have the two most important decisions in your life: the Lord you serve and the Lady you marry.
A “real woman” is “the one who feeds herself”, who “covers all the needs in the household”, and who “doesn't go around asking from other people”. A “most respected woman” is someone who “doesn't need anything from other people. She just depends on herself. She is the one who struggles for everything that she needs”.
God of the Hebrew Bible
In the oracles of the eighth century prophet Isaiah, God is described as a woman in labor and a mother comforting her children. And the Book of Proverbs maintains that the feminine figure of Holy Wisdom, Sophia, assisted God during the creation of the world.
At the same time, God cares deeply about excellence and outward beauty. That God looks at the inner condition of our heart is not an excuse to neglect striving for outer excellence as well. We please God when we offer Him our best.
1 Timothy 2:9-10
Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.
1 Peter 3:3-5 tells us that our beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

A wife is one flesh with her husband. This is not just physically, but in the totality of who you are, your husband, and you are one. This means that we carry one another's burdens and celebrates each other's victories. There is nothing sweeter than to be praying for your husband and see the Lord working in his life.
A good woman is driven by self-determined values, has high self worth yet is down-to-earth, and shows strength, courage and compassion. A good woman leader is able to trust, set clear goals, allow exchange of thoughts and ideas fairly, is helpful, and believes in equality.
