1) Some time in the year 1981, after Lord Voldemort's defeat, Barty Crouch Jr. teams up with Bellatrix, Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange to perform the Cruciatus Curse on Alice and Frank Longbottom. He is consequently incarcerated by his own father, Barty Crouch Sr., and sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban.
In the end of Goblet of Fire, Barty was apprehended and being sent off to Azkerban. In the last book/ movie, the Ministry was overthrown.
No, he could not have saved Barty Crouch Jr., not without entering Hogwarts and exposing himself. Not only this, but he wouldn't have thought he needed to save him. For all Voldemort knew, Barty's role in the plan was still going flawlessly.
This proved Crouch's undoing, as Lord Voldemort learned of the whereabouts of his servant and freed him, turning the tables on Crouch Sr. by Imperiusing him instead. Although Crouch eventually escaped, he was murdered by his own son when he attempted to warn Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore of what had happened.
During his pursuit of the Snitch, he was hit in the face by a Bludger which broke his nose and gave him two black eyes. However, he caught the Snitch and ended the match on his own terms.
David Tennant

Barty Crouch's escape from Azkaban was engineered by his father, Bartemius Crouch Sr., presumably acting at the request of his wife. Barty's escape remained undiscovered because Bartemius' wife took his place, very quickly dying in Azkaban from a pre-existing condition, and being buried there.
Barty Crouch Junior soon arrived thanks to using the Marauder's Map, and while Krum wasn't looking, he hit Krum using a Stunning Spell. Crouch Junior then killed Crouch Senior, and hid his body under his Invisibility Cloak. Harry got back with Dumbledore, who revived Krum and sent Rubeus Hagrid to fetch Igor Karkaroff.
Barty Couch knew his son was alive because he kept him at home, confunded, and under the care of his house elf, Winky. He knew where he was from the day he and his dying wife conspired to take their son out of Azkaban and leave her there in his stead. The plan worked for many years.
He was setting things up so that he could give the book to Neville, which Neville could give to Harry, so that Harry could win the underwater task. Another explanation could be that he despised Neville's parents and perhaps felt sorry for Neville for having such weak parents.
Bartemius Crouch Jr. ( July 9,1962-June 24,1995) is a pure-blood wizard born to Bartemius Crouch Sr. and his wife. During his Hogwarts Years Barty was sorted into Slytherin House and was the roommate to Regulus Black,Evan Rosier,and two unkwon death eaters.
Before the goblet gives it's results, there is a scene in the movie, where Igor Karkaroff secretly walks into the chamber, when the goblet is placed. This indicates that he is the one who put Harry's name in the goblet, but that is not true, it was Barty Crouch.
At the end of GOF when fake Moody takes Harry to his office after he returns from the maze, Dumbledore eventually comes in and stuns him. He knows it is an impostor, but before he changes back to Barty Crouch Jr. he tells McGonagall to get Winky from the kitchens.
In a recent interview, J.K. Rowling said that Draco had strong positive feelings for Hermoine, and would always have "lingering" feelings. However, due to his upbringing, he was unable to act on those feelings, and instead made fun of her, gaining some attention that way.
Karkaroff was surprised when he met Harry Potter at Hogwarts. However, after Barty Crouch Jnr put Harry's name into the Goblet of Fire, Harry was chosen for the Triwizard Tournament. This made Karkaroff very angry, thinking that Harry and Dumbledore had cheated in order to win the Tournament.
Not knowing whether Draco was alive or dead, Narcissa chose to lie to the Dark Lord rather than risk losing her son. When Voldemort asked her to check if Harry was dead and she realised he was, in fact, still breathing, Narcissa seized her opportunity.
Finally, Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco never fled Hogwarts with the other antagonists and losers. In The Deathly Hallows novel, the Malfoys defect from Voldemort's army, betraying the other Death Eaters.
Lucius Malfoy had a strong dislike of Albus Dumbledore. This is due to two reasons – Dumbledore believed in Muggle rights which contradicted Malfoy's pure blood beliefs. In addition, Lucius was a Death Eater, so he believed that Lord Voldemort was a much more powerful wizard than Dumbledore.

In 1994, Moody accepted Dumbledore's offer to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts for a year, but was captured and imprisoned by Barty Crouch Jr., who impersonated him during the 1994–1995 school year, in order to send Harry Potter to Lord Voldemort.
Karkaroff was fearful of real-Moody, so he would have never dreamed that Barty Crouch Jr. was impersonating Moody. He was ruled by fear, not logic or reason. Also, Karkaroff was fearful of Voldemort (especially since the tattoo mark was growing darker again).
The Kiss was performed on Barty Crouch Jnr after it was discovered that he had disguised himself as Alastor Moody to deliver Harry Potter to Lord Voldemort and had killed his father in 1995.
