In a final act of defiance, the Winchesters wouldn't submit to God himself. And while he beat them up … Jack won the war. You see, when Jack exploded last week, he apparently became a sort of a black hole absorbing power and energy, and as God used his power on
The last Supernatural fans saw of Jack, he was waving goodbye to the Winchester brothers on his way to Heaven, at the end of episode 19, "Inherit the Earth." Since then, Jack apparently rebuilt Heaven, making it a better place for human souls.
Eileen Leahy - Sam's final love (Season 15)
After Castiel rescues Jack from a Grigori, the Winchester family is finally reunited. Jack explains that Billie kept him hidden in the Empty, waiting for God to leave to resurrect him. Jack has been following Billie's plan which, if he continues to follow it, will make Jack strong enough to kill God.
Jack dies of his condition, leaving the Winchesters and Castiel in mourning. In an attempt to save Jack, Sam contacts angel expert Lily Sunder, now an old woman, who suggests that they can resurrect Jack and cure him with her magic which will use the power of Jack's own soul to sustain him.
Jack says he snapped and it was over quickly. He wishes it didn't happen. Dean is barely holding it together. He doesn't like that Jack is calling Mary's death, “the accident.” But he plays along and says they understand and they forgive Jack.
After going to Heaven, Dean is impressed and proud of the changes that Jack has made. Bobby Singer calls Jack Dean's kid while they talk and Dean doesn't say anything to the contrary, suggesting that Dean ultimately forgave Jack and came to see the young Nephilim as his family again.
Jack soon died and went to Heaven but he left his Heaven to enter his mother's heaven where he finally connected with her. However, Jack was pursued by The Shadow who sought to claim him but because of the Winchesters and Castiel, Jack was resurrected and returned to Earth.
Billie resurrected Jack and sent him to Earth to feed on Grigori hearts in an effort to make him stronger so that eventually he'll be able to fight Chuck. He would have checked in with Cas and the Winchesters sooner, but he needed to lay low so that Chuck, who fears him, wouldn't find him and kill him again.
After Jack's human soul fused with his Nephilim grace, he exploded into a metaphysical supernova, essentially making him capable of absorbing celestial energy from everything around him. He eventually uses this to steal Chuck's power, rendering him human as Jack becomes the new God.

Dean tells Lisa "you knew what you signed up for". Lisa replies, "I did, but I didn't expect Sam to come back". She knew their relationship was "over the moment Sam walked in the door", and tells Dean how weird his and Sam's relationship is. With Sam, Dean can never be happy.
“Stay with me, please,” he begs Sam, who refuses to accept there's nothing he can do. “You knew it was always going to end like this for me. It's supposed to end like this, right?” Dean says. “Look at us, saving people, hunting things, it's what we do. …

After Dean died in the series finale, Sam went on to get married and have a child, whom he named after his brother. While it seems Sam didn't continue to hunt, the show also didn't reveal what his profession ended up being.
In The End, Jack Became A “Hands-Off” Deity
He was more powerful than God and Amara together. He put the whole world to rights but didn't bring back all the people that had died because of his plan.
Though he was resurrected a second time with no soul, Jack's soul was subsequently restored by the Garden of Eden after he journeyed to it through the Occultum. Lily Sunder agrees to help resurrect Jack using her magic, but tells Sam, Dean, and Castiel that it will use part of his soul in process.
Jack's descent into evil arguably began as soon as his power was restored, as, immediately after Michael's defeat, Sam, Dean, and Castiel looked noticeably frightened at the youngster's ominous power.
Jack didn't save Dean because he wanted everything to be fair. Jack wanted to be better than Chuck. He decided that in order to be better, he had to be fair which meant not saving Dean.
The essence of the ending remained the same: Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) in Heaven (he died on what should have been a routine monster hunt) and his brother Sam's (Jared Padalecki) life playing out in fast-forward (he died when he was old).
Sam and Eileen got married. Dean approved. And they all lived happily ever after.
After a soulless Jack kills Nick for trying to resurrect Lucifer, he accidentally kills Mary in a brief fit of rage. Mary is reunited with her husband in Heaven and is now at peace in a shared Heaven with John.
Supernatural 15x13 - Jack gets his soul back and says sorry to Sam and Dean for killing Mary!
Dean, though, had no plans to forgive Sam or even hear him out. Dean decided he didn't want to stick around the brother who was being shunned by the rest of the world and abandoned Sam. Dean didn't even consider how he was the first one to break Lucifer's seals and Sam didn't hold it against him back then.
