Now, you leave the Windows Insider Program. Your device will not receive Windows 11 preview builds. If you want to get a stable version of Windows 11, you need to continue with the next step.
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program > Stop Insider Preview Builds to see your options. If you're in the Beta Channel or the Release Preview Channel, you can flip the switch to stop getting preview builds on your device when the next major release of Windows launches to the public.
If you use release preview or beta channel, you don't have to delete anything. If you use Dev channel, you need a clean install for downgrade. in order to downgrade from an insider Dev build which has a higher version of Windows, to the stable build which has lower version, you do need to clean install Windows.
Although you can easily upgrade a Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, preserving installed apps, settings, and data files, you can't do the reverse. If you want to "downgrade" from Windows 11 to Windows 10, you have to do a clean install, which requires backing up and restoring your data files and reinstalling all your apps.
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program on your device. Set it to the Dev Channel. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to check for the latest update, and update your device to the latest build available in the Dev Channel.
It turns out Windows 11 is collecting a lot of your data regardless, even on a brand-new PC. Neowin recently reported on a YouTube video by The PC Security Channel where they showed how a brand new Windows 11 laptop versus a fresh Window XP install behaved in terms of what data, if any, was being sent online.
If it was 10 days or less, then you may open Settings and go to System->Recovery and click on Previous version of Windows to rollback. In case it has been more than 10 days since the upgrade or the option is disable, then you won't be able to rollback, and you have to reinstall the Windows.
If you want to remove your Windows 11 PC from the Insider Program, you have until March 8, 2023. The option is only available for those in the Beta Channel. Microsoft opens a window to opt out of the Beta Channel. The option is only available through March 8, 2023.
Windows 11 has seen its fair share of bugs, while the much older Windows 10 is more stable. Microsoft has been quick to fix issues with its latest OS, though. We've seen a bug that creates thousands of empty folders in File Explorer, as well as a bug that would massively slow SSD speeds.

Back up your files

This type of clean install deletes and recreates system partitions. It will delete all personal files on your device and the partition on your hard drive currently being used for your recovery drive.
By default, Windows 11 tracks your activities and sends the information to its advertising partners, who can then show you targeted ads. Your personal information is contained within something called an advertising ID – but this can be turned off if you know where to look.
Open your Windows Security settings. Select Virus & threat protection > Scan options. Select Windows Defender Offline scan, and then select Scan now.
Windows Insider Program is a beta program. So, Microsoft ensures those participating are aware that sometimes a released build can cause trouble to the user's computer. Also, it can result in the user needing to reinstall windows afresh.
For Insiders who are hungriest to try out new features and experiences – we recommend the Dev Channel.
The most likely causes of Windows 11 Insider preview installation stuck at 85%/35% or Windows 11 installation stuck at 85%/35% might be the incompatible devices, drivers, games, programs, or the leftover files that need to be removed after software uninstallation.
