As soon as Queen Elizabeth dies, Prince Charles will become king. He is permitted to choose his own name, and is expected to become King Charles III.
The Queen's actual funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey nine days after her death, and The Guardian reports that basically everything will be closed—including the stock market—due to a “day of national mourning.”
Prince Charles will immediately become king
Although there will be rituals and ceremonies aplenty, Prince Charles, who succeeds the queen, doesn't need any of that to actually become king—that happens instantaneously, despite the reasons some British citizens don't want Prince Charles to be king.
The change is automatic
Legally, there does not need to be anything done in Australia to result in the change from queen to king. That happens automatically as soon as a monarch dies. When Queen Elizabeth II died, Charles immediately became king of Australia.
The London Stock Exchange will be closed for at least the day of the Queen's funeral and possibly for several days after - which could potentially cost the economy billions. There should be no changes to travel as there is also no obligation to stop trains, planes and buses.
While some may to choose to shut as a mark of respect, most across the UK are expected to operate as normal. The main day establishments may wish to shutter up is on the day of the Queen's funeral. Although the Queen's funeral takes place on a national day of mourning, a nationwide bank holiday is not guaranteed.

“All Australian banknotes issued from 1913 retain their legal tender status,” a Reserve Bank's spokesperson told the ABC. “So the currently circulating $5 banknotes would still be able to be used should a new banknote be issued as a result of a change in monarch.”
Schools are currently set to remain open during the mourning period following the Queen's death. The day of the Queen's death is referred to as D-Day, with the coming days to be referred to as D-Day plus the number of days that have passed since her death.

Though the country won't get 12 days off to properly mourn the monarch, the official mourning period after the Queen's death lasts that long, with her funeral taking place on the ninth day. Each day after D-Day is known as 'D+1', 'D+2', and so on, until the funeral on the tenth day.
