Lightsaber crystal. Ghostfire crystals were a type of rare and entirely transparent
Viridian Lightsaber
Viridian lightsabers are extremely rare in the Star Wars universe, and only a few have been seen on screen. These lightsabers are typically associated with the Jedi and are known for their unique, glowing green color.
WHAT IS THE RAREST KYBER CRYSTAL COLOR. The black lightsaber is the rarest color in the Star Wars saga. That's because it's the only one that has been seen. The Darksaber was the first Mandalorian child in the Jedi order.
The Kaiburr crystal can amplify a force-user's power a thousand-fold; it's so powerful that when Darth Vader held it, he was able to use Force Lightning in spite of his prosthetics and injuries.
Properties. Kathracite crystals were the weakest of the Adegan crystrals and often used to create training lightsabers for the younglings who were apart of the Jedi Order.
The Sith apprentice Darth Maul wielded a double-bladed lightsaber made by joining two hilts together end-to-end. Maul's dexterity and extensive training allowed him to use his weapon as a single-bladed saber, or to activate both crimson blades and fight multiple opponents at once.
An ancient lightsaber that serves as a powerful symbol of leadership to the Mandalorians, the Darksaber is a unique weapon with a black-energy blade lined with a crackling white edge.
A crystal embodies the Jedi as the heart of the lightsaber, and pure kyber has no color until it's bonded to the Force user. This process likely resulted in Rey Skywalker's lightsaber being yellow.
While there are many one-of-a-kind lightsabers in the Star Wars universe, there is only one with the history and legend of the Darksaber, which was created by the first Mandalorian Jedi named Tarre Vizsla.
Arguably, some of the rarest types of Jedi were the so-called Iron Knights. These are members of the Shards species - crystals with a brain of their own. They were Force-sensitive and all trained under the tutelage of Jedi Master Aqinos. The Shards had droid bodies, similar to that of General Grievous.
Yoda's lightsaber was smaller than a standard Jedi lightsaber, befitting his shorter stature.
During his years as a Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi fought with three lightsabers. His first had a blue plasma blade and a hilt similar to that of his master, Qui-Gon Jinn. Obi-Wan used this weapon until Darth Maul kicked it into a deep shaft on Naboo.
It appears rarely in the Star Wars universe—so rarely, in fact, that the current canon recognizes only one carrier of a white lightsaber. Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi Padawan who aided in the rebellion against the Galactic Empire, is acknowledged as the sole possessor of the white lightsaber.
While he is not Force-sensitive, Grievous has been trained in all forms of lightsaber combat by Count Dooku. Each of his mechanical arms can separate in half, allowing him to wield four lightsabers at once to overwhelm his enemies.
Darth Maul's double-bladed lightsaber, also known as Maul's saberstaff, was the first personal double-bladed lightsaber of Darth Maul, a Sith Lord who took part in the Invasion of Naboo and the Clone Wars.
Without a doubt, the most notable Jedi with a purple saber is Mace Windu, portrayed in the prequel trilogy by Samuel L. Jackson. Audiences first got a glimpse of the unusual blade in Episode II: Attack of the Clones, making Windu the coolest Jedi in one cinematic moment.
The lightsaber produces a plasma blade measuring over 1 m (3.28 ft) in length. Reaching temperatures over 2,800°C (5,072°F), the blade has the ability to cut through steel. "All my life I was a great Star Wars™ fan and the lightsaber was my most-wanted gadget," said Alex.
There is only one known character in all of Star Wars canon to have a magenta lightsaber. That character is Cal Kestis. Cal is from the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and he is a force-sensitive human who over the course of the game becomes a Jedi knight.
Kylo Ren's lightsaber had a cracked kyber crystal, which generated an unstable blade. The excess power was vented out the sides, thus creating a crossguard-like design. The most important and prestigious vessels of the First Order had weapons upgraded with kyber crystals from some secret source in the Unknown Regions.
It was possible to "heal" the effects of bleeding on a kyber crystal, by using the light side of the Force, thus changing the crystal's color again. The process typically resulted in a white crystal.
This white Kyber crystal is modeled after the one used by Ahsoka Tano, who used the Force to purify a Sith's red Kyber crystal, turning it white and making it her own.
